Leviticus - Visala - December 17, 2024

@Nayavanti @Kerosene @Ruin @Morokei Finally starting to take the reigns on this a bit! I'd like to run this thread like a pack meeting - so no posting order, but we will not move on from the first round until everyone has a chance to respond <3 after that rounds will have set dates for the sake of speed!

The small girl pawing her way out of the dark den of the Listener, she lifted her head to let out a long, high-pitched howl that called her Keeper and Speakers to her.

After days of contemplation, an idea had come to her. She thought it silly that they had not tried such things already.

Silent, she waited. Her tail brushed against the snowy ground, giving away her excitement.

RE: Leviticus - Ruin - December 17, 2024

Without a word, he turned. His body moved before his mind could catch up, his hulking form cutting through the rain-soaked haze of the coast with heavy, deliberate strides. His fur clung to him, bedraggled and dripping, but he didn’t notice. Didn’t care.

She was waiting.

He crested a rise near the den, her pale figure materializing like a ghost against the backdrop of snow and shadow.

RE: Leviticus - Nayavanti - December 17, 2024

Nayavanti appears in the first few seconds after the call, carrying a limp rabbit in her jaw. Immediately she strides to Visala, frowning as she notices a slight fault in her position. She leaves their meal to be set aside for later.

"I'm here." Nayavanti says murmurs against her fur as she delicately nudges the other in place. Facing more towards the center rather than the side, better.

Then, taking a few steps back blending within the darkness of the Listener's den. Like a shadow against moonlight. Guarding.

RE: Leviticus - Morokei - December 26, 2024

morokei would forever be a storm-cloud.

following something, foreboding to those who did not understand him. as if he had come free from a tar pit, he emerged. slick from water.

he looked to none other than her.

The Listener.

RE: Leviticus - Kerosene - January 02, 2025

Kerosene, last to arrive, was gaunt with exhaustion and disheveled from their constant laboring. The islands were improving, at least. Yet they felt hollow.

Their eyes were dull on Visala as they settled beside Morokei, nodded to Ruin. Nayavanti went ignored. They hoped it stung.

RE: Leviticus - Visala - January 14, 2025

She gives a quiet 'thanks', to Nayavanti as she is adjusted. It feels rather cold once the woman has backed away.

I've decided that I will travel to the mainland, speak to the packs there. Or rather Nayavanti would speak for her. Visala did not speak outside of this small circle of wolves; her voice far too precious to be sullied by unworthy ears. I would like them to know of us, for me to be able to understand them. Though she surely would not allow them to understand her.

My trip will not be long, and I will call back often. She takes a moment to ponder. There is nothing else, and so she stands. With the awkward press of paws to the ground, she soon turns and enters her den.

She will find more wolves, new members. They will succeed.
