Reyson traveled around the edges of the water. Frosted edges making a crunching noise as he moved. Blue eyes roving over the land and the water. He wondered at teh ice that tipped over the dark vastness of the lake. Was it strong enough? But he dare not try it. Juts a thought.
He stopped and stared out over it. Memories turning through his mind. Of Rook and Amity as they had played one day on a thick covering of ice. How Renaud had stayed nearby hovering and fussing. Much like Meadow would likely do if Rhonen and Lotus decided to try. A smile broke the scarred stillness of his face. A happy memory.
