at times, huntress was only a mere woman, and she, too, needed rest.
her arrival to the valley came with a bloodied maw and a hare hanging from her jaws. though she planned to take it for herself, nanuralaaq would not be upset, should someone request her catch. snow-kissed figure travelled through the valley as the sun began to dip, the sky turning navy, orange, gold. clouds begun to roll in from the east ; it was very likely that the wolves of bearclaw valley would wake up to a fresh sheet of snow.
up ahead, though, with a small dot of fur upon the horizon, rala changed her course. it was a qimmiq, no doubt. and, from the size, the snowwoman estimated that it (she?) was probably half a year old. one of ameline's and ancelin's. as she drew closer, she distinguished that the pup was, in fact, a girl, dropped down the rabbit and said:
hello, there,her tongue accented in an arctic manner.
would you care for something to eat?tail swaying behind her as she nodded towards the hare, almost maternal.
