The sunflower girl finds herself encased by a force she cannot see, her body heavy and far too fatigued to run. It is a sensation that her relentless spirit has never faced.
She thought herself invincible, one whose luck would carry her through life without harm. She was proven wrong.
A man took her from Nasamiituuq, from Moonglow. She failed to listen to the warnings of her dear friend.
She cannot run, for they have weakened her. She cannot run, for they will see. There is nowhere to go, nowhere to hide. For now she can only wait as the winter's relentless storm falls upon her withering soul.
