Caribou meat
For days he had struggled with other's of Moonglow, with the few left of Moontide, with some of Akashingo. But he had done his best to bring all the most important items. There were more besides. Furs and claws and teeth and trinkets. he had done what he could.
Soft and hard and inbetween. he had a bit of everything and he had done his best to get it all here. Some he knew would have been left. A few smaller animal furs. Some trinkets. A few sea shells. But he had done what he could. And now he stood waiting quietly. He lifted his muzzle for @Kukutux to let her know he was returned.
Then with bowed head and tired body, he headed towards teh one den he had before. He began tthe painstaking time it would take to clean it out. And his heart grieved for all he had lost.
There is more besides they have hunted and traded the entire time. But these are the items he traded for on the last trade journey

wealth did not have the power to restore rodyn's heart. moontide had gone its way and samani slept beside the sea. through his power and his devotion had the home of her daughter stood fine and tall.
but time ate away at many legs.
kukutux was there to greet him as he came; to help him carry bundles, heaped hides, small packs. in silence they would put these things aside, and then in silence she would feed him fresh-caught meat.

Rodyn did not understand the rage of the gods he had invoked. But he felt as if in someway. He had made someone very angry. But for what he could not fathom. For he did not boast nor brag. He was not cruel or harsh with women or children. he treated no man or woman lesser than. Had his wealth and his power gone to his head. He did not think so. But perhaps. Perhaps.
I have brought your grandchildren much to share with brides adn villages Moonwoman.A sad smile towards her. And he stretched out his legs. And dipped his muzzle down.
I am sorry I could not keep Moontide for her.

A small smile.
I tried.and he had. Lord he had tried so hard. And for a time he had succeeded. But loss after loss had destroyed what they had built and it made his chest hurt. However. He was still here. He needed to remember that he was also blessed. He had loved and lost yes. But he had loved, epically, truly. And had been loved. That was more than most.
I am not an idle wolf. I will rest a few days. But then what does Moonglow need?

nantahala was missing. But she was at Moontide. She was there. he froze in surprise. he had not known she was missing.
