@Tvar .. get ur booty over here because i need more of him asap ..
know that nanuralaaq had grown certain of the bond between tvar and towhee jr, she felt that it was time to break this strange vow of 'no contact' that she had held and instead make up, for while they were not lovers, she surely knew that he would prove to be a good friend. rala liked to believe that perhaps she was beginning to get on @Cole's good side, too, so it was today that she moved with purpose, following his scent.
when she grew closer, dawn hues lingered upon his dark figure. for a moment, all nerves in her body screamed to run, to flee, to hide! but instead, she pushed forwards, and gave a low, friendly chuff before lilting tones carried her words:
hey, tvar,a break from her usually formal 'hello'. instead, she was trying something more casual, something that she had only just picked up from her time here, within the teekons.
a breath drawn -
how have you been?- and a breath released.

tvar’s ears flick toward the sound of approaching paws before he catches her scent, familiar now but still unexpected. he lifts his head, eyes fallong upon rala when she steps into view. her chuff draws a faint tilt of his head. his brow raises slightly.
rala,he replies with a faint nod. shifting upon dark paws, his weight is heavy as he swings towards her, rolling thick shoulders.
i’ve been well,a short, curt reply as eyes tentatively pass over her. ignoring the elephant in the room; as he intended to do until the end of the time.
keeping busy.a huff and he turns, continuing his work on digging out a den large enough for his growing family.
got cubs on the way so…he trails off. his gaze softens briefly at the thought of towhee and their pups before he looks back to rala.
and you?he asks, tilting his head slightly.
cole still giving you grief?

her ears flick briefly at the mention of cubs, and something seems to creep up upon her face ; not envy or jealousy, nor anger, nor sadness. it was something that may be unexpected, something that grew a faint glimmer in her eye. with a twinge of humour, she hummed:
so i have heard,as cole had told her of tvar's incoming children. but the smile she wore did not speak of ridicule or mocking ; instead, a pure, unfiltered joy. a happiness to see someone she cared for, perhaps admired, to be starting a family of his own. though he did not look back at her, she would say:
i am happy for you, tvar.
at the mention of cole, rala shook her head, though he may not see it.
i think i am finally getting on his good side,came light laughter.
he seems to be close with that new girl, winslet? you probably heard of the coyote attack. anyway, i have been checking in with her, keeping her wounds covered, caring for her. i think he appreciates it,curious, then, as she wondered what it would be like to get inside of his thoughts, to see, or hear, what he thought of the wolves around him. what he thought of her? of winslet? perhaps even tvar, or dolce?
how has he been with you?
their undying camaraderie did not seem to be taking any dips anytime soon.

he listens as she speaks of cole, his sharp gaze flicking briefly to her as she mentions winslet. he nods faintly, already aware of the incident. so, cole had told her about the pups. he’s been talkative lately. the thought pulls a faint smirk to tvar’s lips.
he has been… cole,tvar replies, huffing softly with the barest hint of amusement.
the man is constant.there’s a glimmer of respect in his tone. he seems to leave it at that, not keen on revealing much of anything to her.
sounds like you’re getting through to him, though.there’s a brief pause, his brows raising faintly.
that’s no small feat.
and then:
winslet’s lucky to have you checking in.approval in his tone.

it definitely took a moon or so,comes agreeing words, followed by a humorous huff of air through her nose. he spoke of winslet, then. of luck.
nanuralaaq gave a hum for but a moment, before she says:
no, she is hardly lucky, i fear i might be the only somewhat-healer here. though, if there is another, they have yet to make their skills known,the words came gingerly, her nose scrunching as she spoke.
i am hardly trained in the ways of a healer ; not as much as one should be.
a sigh left her dark lips.
though, i will do anything to help.
and then, a thought crossed her mind. ever curious, she spoke:
how is towhee jr coming along? please, do tell her that though i may not be best when it comes to wounds, i know to tend to the pregnant and nursing. i do wish to check on her, should she be so inclined to be doted upon,a smile as she said the latter.

tvar listens, his sharp gaze flicking to her as she speaks of her healing abilities—or her perceived lack thereof. his brow raises faintly at her scrunched nose, but there’s no judgment in his tone as he replies.
you’re doing more than most would, trained or not,he signs as well as speaks, something that was becoming a habit, his tail giving a faint flick of approval.
willingness to help matters just as much.
her question about towhee jr softens his expression further, the stoicism fading into something gentler.
she’s doing well,he signs, a small, almost private smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
strong as ever.
her offer earns a thoughtful pause before he nods.
she’s stubborn—probably won’t admit it, but i think she’d appreciate it. i’ll let her know.the mention of doting earns a faint huff of amusement from him.

nanuralaaq gave no response to tvar's justification, only a thankful smile, before watching as his expression softened at the mention of the woman. he wore fatherhood well, and his children had not even been born yet. snowwoman knew that they would fare well together ; somewhat thankful, now, that whatever spark they had once shared was now mere soot. for she was happy with dolce, as tvar was with towhee.
his motions, too, did not go unnoticed, for she had once seen something similar. no wonder his signing was reminiscent of her own ; tvar was probably receiving private lessons. nanuralaaq did well to hide her amusement at the thought.
with a hum, she spoke:

a stubborn mother is a good mother,came lilting wisdom.
she will fight to keep your children strong, you know. good woman. i do not know her well, but i feel a strong spirit within her. you have both done well in your choice, for one another,words carrying praise.
with a hum, she spoke:
i do not think i will bring forth children, come spring,breath left her maw as her words left, too.
maybe, in the summer. the expectant mothers of the valley need someone to watch over them, you know? and i have yet to outright ask @Dolce if he wishes to be a father,what if he doesn't?

anyway, you tell towhee that she may come to my den anytime. i will take a look at her belly, ask her of any symptoms.
