It was time to check in with their resident landlubber.
Swift steps sought @Firefly, a haunch of deer clutched in his jaws which he deposited rather unceremoniously at the man's feet. "How're ya settlin' in?" A weighted question, vague as to encompass the rookie's growing excitement for the raid as well as his integration with the crew.
For a seawolf who'd spent his growing life around pirates, it was difficult to put himself in the paws of someone who hadn't. Their culture was likely a shock, their mannerisms, even their speech - though the Captain had noted with great pleasure that Firefly had already adopted some of their twang.
