In his time in the Teekon Wilds, the ghostly figure had spent very little of it in the Great Bear Wilderness. While it was mildly peculiar for him to have sought refuge in the ranks of Ouroboros Spine, it was not because he was particularly fond of their territories. Whether he wanted to admit it or not, the brute had grown somewhat fond of the inky-faced female from Ankyra Sound. It had been on her suggestion that he had wandered to the borders of the Spine and requested acceptance. Had Caiaphas not spoken of their lands, Kierkegaard would have continued his solitary existence on the sharp rocks of the ridge that sat much further north. Nevertheless, he had followed her instruction and joined the Spine, and he realized his lack of knowledge in the surrounding territories was not viable.
Nearby packs had never been an issue for the savage. He had never found himself close to their borders, and so he knew very little about them. Kierkegaard was hostile enough with travelers near the boundaries of the Spine. He would have wagered that the wolves of the other claimed territories would have been very much the same.
It was unintentional that he would find himself so very close to the borders of the caldera. He had made note of the markings, though the snow had forced him to deviate slightly in his trek. The brute was walking on a very thin line between free land and claimed territory. Head lowered to the earth, shoulders rolling in a predatory manner, Kierkegaard trudged through the winter environment with sharp golden eyes keeping a look out for nearby patrollers.

RE: for my heart is an unending tomb - RIP Fox - December 28, 2014

I'm going to say this takes place on the evening of the 28th, since that's easier for me as far as timelines go.

After a full week (and a day) of passionate humping, Fox could finally feel herself cooling down. She no longer felt the intense need to have Peregrine pressed up against her every second of the day, and she actually found herself snapping at him when he attempted to mount her the most recent time. After apologizing, giving him a kiss on the nose, and attributing it to her cycle being over, Fox had told Perry she needed some space to recuperate and had headed toward the outer reaches of Redhawk Caldera. Perhaps some fresh air and exercise would keep her from being such a bitch (though that seemed unlikely).

Fox was only fifteen minutes into her patrol when she spotted a lone figure lingering way too close to her home. Even more protective now that she was very likely pregnant, Fox loped toward the intruder with nostrils flared and tail arched high over her back. Her message was quite clear: leave now or be eaten. Redhawk Caldera could in no way afford another wolf among their ranks, or Fox might've taken that into consideration. The land could handle not even one more adult wolf, and Fox did not want to make buddies with outsiders just for the hell of it.

Either he took her hint, or he had found another reason to get the hell out. In any case, Fox breathed a sigh of relief when he turned his back on Redhawk Caldera and moved away from her home. Only when he was out of sight did she return to her patrol, ever watchful for potential disruptors.

Fading this one out, since it's nearly a month old, and any damage would disrupt timelines a lot. Mary, lemme know if you want a make-up thread in the future!
