Forgotten - Karavira - March 21, 2025
Disheveled and dirty, she fell against the mountain side with her flank. Breathing, taking in the wild scents of open forest. Caught in a second of tranquil acceptance that perhaps things had changed now. No longer running, and yet she could not stop the memory of Masa's dark face from ruining her into a tight bodied weep.
Somehow being forgotten was worse than losing home.
She did not know where to go next.
