Protect the coven - Yakona - March 22, 2025 This place reeks of meconium and newborn dribbling. She can’t spend an eternity here. The third-born cub and second-born girl can hardly crawl, can hardly lift her nose, but she looks around with newly opened ocean-blue eyes for the great provider and voices her loud dissatisfaction. RE: Protect the coven - Sivaak - April 02, 2025 sivaak is disturbed by the noise of children. a noise that she has not grown used to, but has grown to tolerate. motherly instincts be damned, the muradoii matriarch burns with vigor. rolling over, ignorant to the squalor of children as they search for purchase at their mother's belly. sivaak looks with cold red eyes; three healthy girls and a son. soon, the blood-drinker thinks. soon, muradoii will rise. RE: Protect the coven - Yakona - April 02, 2025 Night; this eternal lukewarm darkness, the only light and heat a citadel which wrenches just out of reach. The girl listens closely for that ticking clock. Whenever it’s away the others fuss. Yakona fusses too, swimming with limp limbs, dragging the deadweight of her body to chase the echo to its origin. Had she teeth, she would have clamped and tore and marked her possession in blood. As it was, she could only gum at the dribbling spout, and listen for the provider’s heartbeat. The only lullaby she knew. RE: Protect the coven - Ts'okhun - April 02, 2025 ts'okhun's eyes flick open, his tiny body shaking as he tries to lift his head, muscles weak but determined. he lets out a small, soft whine, his first attempt to speak his will. he looks around, searching with clear intent. he is not weak. he squirms, pushing against the floor, still too small, but his spirit is already stirring. RE: Protect the coven - Cetseni - April 02, 2025 Cetseni churns beside her sister, another voice to the symphony of growing displeasure, demanding blood and sacrifice (milk and warm fur) to be given immediately. She mouthed at the furs of her siblings, small, weak jaws unable to cannibalize as she wished. Already she desired to prove right the rumours that haunted the prints of muradoii hunters.
She wobbles after her sister, lids fighting to open so that milky blue eyes could've surveilled the racetrack, the competition, but the bite of the cold is enough to usher them shut again. There is a tether between daughter and mother, invisible, but unwavering, able to pierce through even the endless dark of blind eyes, the third daughter follows this lifeline, this magic woven into the blood they shared, and finds a place beside the moon-kissed fur of her sister. RE: Protect the coven - Yakona - April 16, 2025 Cetseni. Yakona does not use this new sight to ram sister from mother’s milk. She accepts her presence, and without a means to shift a heavy head, sags against her. Though it must’ve looked like affection, Cetseni was nearly the only thing keeping Yakona upright. She anticipates the weight of the others, of which she is accustomed. Ts’okhun. Pikpaksriruk. Mother. The five of them; her universe. |
