we keep moving forward - Rhaena - March 31, 2025 @Pangur maybe? <3
The meeting passed in a blur, words flowing faster than she could grasp. So much had been said, yet she wasn’t sure what to make of it all.happens right after the meeting is over! Seiðkona was missing. Rhaena’s ears twitched at the news, her gaze flicking toward Solharr. Was she his mate? The thought unsettled her, though she wasn’t sure why. She caught his expression and, for a brief moment, felt a pang of sympathy, offering him a quiet, uncertain look. Then came the talk of moving to the quarry. She had passed one on her journey, though whether it was the same, she couldn’t say. It was her first day among them, and already, everything was shifting. The shadow girl didn’t believe in ghosts, but if Solharr saw fit to lead them elsewhere, she would follow. During the meeting, a golden-furred woman had stood beside her, a small smile offered in silent acknowledgment. With nothing of her own to gather, Rhaena turned to seek her out, offering her help if she needed it. She did not go after Raedwulf. Not today. The sting of his indifference still sat too heavy on her chest. RE: we keep moving forward - Pangur - April 02, 2025 YES! <3
The crowd shifts, some leave, some linger, Pangur stays and lets it sink into her head. Whatever reservations the news of a move might have stirred, they were absent as her hazel gaze steeled into something determined.
She would need to gather the furs that lined her den, and as she set off to do that very thing, she was soon joined by the shadowed girl from the meeting, tawny ears swivel to catch the steps of her paws as she nears. Oh- Hallo! I do not think we have had the chance to meet yet! I am Pangur, Nattfari to Forneskja. She greets with a cheery lilt and a smile to match, the announcement may have been soaked in gloom, but Pangur would not break. It was times like these that people needed their spirits lifted the most, and so she buried the part of her own heart that cracked at Seiðkona's disappearance. She leans back to her haunches at the mouth of her den, glad for the company. RE: we keep moving forward - Rhaena - April 03, 2025 Rhaena’s ears perked as the golden woman turned to her, greeting her with a warmth that was hard to ignore. It was nice; comforting, even, in the midst of all the uncertainty. ”Nice to meet you, Pangur. I'm Rhaena,” she began, testing the name on her tongue, letting it roll in a way that felt almost playful. „I like your name. It sounds… strong.” A bright observation, one she did not hesitate to share. She took a step closer, tail giving the smallest of wags. „Nattfari… that means… scout, right? Does that mean you’ve traveled far? What kind of places have you seen?” The words tumbled out in quick succession, curiosity shining in her periwinkle gaze. Perhaps Pangur has seen the quarry as well? Then, the shadow girl paused, glancing past her toward the den; „I don’t have any hides to gather, but I can help! I’m good at carrying things! Or keeping you company, if you’d rather.” A smile stretched across her face, easy and genuine. She rocked back onto her haunches, not quite settling, still brimming with an energy she was barely containing, waiting for Pangur’s response with an eager gleam in her eyes. RE: we keep moving forward - Pangur - April 09, 2025 im so sorry for the wait!! been very busy this week
Pangur is alight as her name rolls smoothly from raven dark lips, sounding far prettier than it is when it comes off of her more refined tongue. Strong indeed, though the full story could wait.
Nattfari, scout indeed. It does, and I have.A grin spreads across her face, a fondness to her voice just at the thought, her wanderer's heart never quite settled. I was a traveler even before I came here, I went to all sorts of places, mostly wherever needed me.shoulderblades rolled smoothly beneath golden fur, some tension easing as they fall into the lull of conversation, eased further by the enthusiastic glimmer in eyes of periwinkle blue. I've stayed with wolves in the forests, by the ocean.. I saw this place once with all these colourful lakes, and the water was too hot to even touch, burning hot- you could see the stacks of steam rising from them from a forest away— and another place up in the mountains so high that you could almost touch the clouds—Pangur pauses, having gotten a little carried away. ah- I'm sorry, I'm rambling. She looks back to her den, taking the deer skull that she'd used to mark the entrance by an antler and carefully setting it to the dirt. Your company is just fine! I don't have too too much to carry...Her gaze trails over her belongings, half a deer hide to line her den, a trophy skull with runes carved into the bone and... a rabbit hide, given to her by seiðkona. For a moment, her eyes lingered on it. RE: we keep moving forward - Rhaena - April 14, 2025 no worries <3
Rhaena’s ears flicked forward, perked with interest, and her eyes grew round as Pangur spoke of burning lakes and sky-high mountains. A soft gasp escaped her, and without meaning to, she took a small step closer, as if drawn in by the vivid imagery.„That sounds amazing!” she exclaimed, tail lifting in a happy sway behind her. Her paws shifted with contained energy, weight bouncing lightly from one side to the other, as though the idea of travel sparked some dormant fire within her. „I’ve never seen anything like that, only in dreams, maybe! Or stories the elders used to tell on cold nights.” She laughed, and the sound danced through the air, light, breezy, full of sunshine. „Don’t be sorry! I love when someone rambles. It means there’s magic in what they’re saying. It means they care.” Padding a few careful steps forward, her gaze followed Pangur’s to the rabbit hide, and her own movement slowed. Her head tilted slightly, ears lowering just a little, not in sadness, but with quiet understanding. She settled her weight gently on her haunches beside the other woman, her tone softening like sunlight filtered through clouds. „That one’s special, isn’t it?” she asked, voice lowered as if to respect the moment. „You don’t have to tell me why. I just think it’s beautiful, to have something that still makes your heart speak, even if it’s quiet.” And then, in a blink, the warmth returned full-force. She rose again, tail giving a jaunty flick, and she flashed Pangur a mischievous grin. „And if you’ve got too much to carry, well,” she lifted a forepaw theatrically, tapping it to her chest, „you’ve got a strong pair of paws and a tail right here. Let me help!” |
