The bear comes to a lake, he wonders if the fish have returned.
Peering down into the water and lapping at the deep blue, he thinks back to before the months of hibernation when he hunted in the salmon lake with little wolf.
Strange creatures, canines were. So trusting. Nearly endearing.
His reminiscing was cut through by the growl of his stomach. He was due for a meal.
