— she circles him. blackfell is there, standing stoic, sides and flanks heaving with strong breaths. he inhales through flaring nostrils.
she is a silver sword, frosted by ice. she catches the glint of the sun and blackfell exhales a sharp breath, feeling a tug in his gut. even he cannot deny the sight. svalla had grown into a woman—fully fledged, and now her talons aimed for him.
he ducks swiftly, twirling on battle-born paws and striking her low. head crashing into her ribs where her lungs nestled within.
