Policy violations - WOLF - April 24, 2025
Hey Wolf Pack,
Please be aware that we have radically altered our approach to moderation, effective immediately. Our 3-strike system was no longer serving members or staff, so we’ve retired it. For similar reasons, we have also done away with the nudges feature (though we still encourage people to directly communicate boundaries, preferences, etc).
Going forward, here’s how the CMs will handle policy violations:
- Members will receive informal reminders for accidents and missteps (e.g., a rule that was missed or overlooked).
- For minor and/or repeated violations, members will have warnings logged on their permanent record and they will be temporarily suspended from participating in the game.
- For particularly egregious and serious violations, or for when repeated attempts to correct behavior are ignored, members will be permanently banned from the game.

Quote:Players are expected to honor the spirit of the rules, not just the letter. Persistent attempts to interpret the rules in ways that contradict their intended purpose, or to exploit ambiguity or nitpick loopholes, will be treated as rule violations.
