Groundhog Day - Alivia - June 18, 2025
Welcome to the Redhawk Caldera pack hunt! This takes place at some liquid-y point in the early summer, between the formation of RHC (5/11) and the birth of RHC's pups (6/13). All Caldera members (tagged below) are assumed to be present and if not posted, will be lightly pped as generally participatory in the hunt. If you do not want your character to be present or lightly pped, please send me a quick message and I'll take them off the list. Anyone else who visited RHC, began a Join thread, or just blew through the area during the time period listed above is welcome to join us too; loners or anyone else who wants to get in on the hunt are also welcome.

This thread will only go three rounds and not involve any actual hunting. Once hunting pairs/groups are chosen, feel free to create a separate hunt thread with your group and include [GD] in the title.
Round One: Assemble/Whole-Group Introductions
Round Two: Break into partners or groups
Round Three: Disperse
Alivia's summoning howl bounced off of the eastern mountains, inviting the wolves of Redhawk Caldera and any others in the area to a group hunt. She turned to Amalia with an optimistic wag of her tail, smiling to disguise her nervousness at having to lead an activity that was most definitely not her area of expertise.
Once the hunters were gathered, Alivia cleared her throat and addressed them.
"Thanks for coming, everyone! I'm Alivia, and I'm a member of Redhawk Caldera. And this is Amalia, our pack's Matriarch. We're gonna be hunting groundhog, because that's what the Caldera's future puppies have a taste for this morning." She turned to the pregnant Amalia and flashed a smile. "After everyone introduces themselves, we'll break into groups and get started."
She turned to the wolf to her left and waited expectantly for their introduction.

Amalia had to take frequent breaks, but she made it. She settled her father self down and waved at the assemblage. Though she panted. That had been rough.
A small smile for Alivia she waited.
