Refugee - Raindrop - July 15, 2025 When the trio made it back to the spine, they headed straight for the heart of the territory, where she called for Waterman and Starwoman. By this time, Ponderosa had decided to retreat to their family’s den and hang out with @Angel Oak. Raindrop looked to young Ludo, a motherly smile decorated her face. “Once we are finished here, we can get you something to eat. You can rest.” “Our home will be your home.” RE: Refugee - Ludovicus - July 16, 2025 The woman takes him to her home as promised; no tricks, no trade off. He understands that they are likely waiting for the leaders of Moonglow now, and while he can't help but be antsy he will be patient. Do you have rabbits here?He asks, returning the smile though it remains small. For the moment his worries have been quelled. RE: Refugee - Ajei - July 17, 2025 Ajei was surprised at the call and though she was loathe to leave her little ones. She headed in teh direction of the babies. Arrluk was busy hunting or fishing. She had made sure to tuck them in tightly and Rodyn had promised to keep an eye on them. She made her way to Raindrop, smelling of milk and babies and closed space. She traced eyes over the little pup that followed. Hello? Raindrop. Whose you're lovely little friend? RE: Refugee - Raindrop - July 17, 2025 She couldn’t hide the smile on her face; “Yes Ludo, we have plenty of rabbit.” It wasn’t long after her call that Ajei appeared. She wore the scent of a mother; a scent that Raindrop once wore. Yet, no one, not even her, knew if she would wear that scent again. She dipped her head as Ajei approached. “Starwoman.” She said in greeting, “This is Ludo. I found him alone in Deep Wood Weald. He has been separated from his mother. I brought him here to care for him.” She pulled Ludo closer to her. “I ask that he may be allowed to stay, until his mother is be found.” RE: Refugee - Ludovicus - July 18, 2025 Another stranger came, one who wore a scent of milk and young that was still familiar to him. It made him miss his maman more. He kept quiet for now, eyeing the wolf whom Raindrop called 'Starwoman' for a moment. He dipped his head after his own name was offered for him. With a name so similar to Moonspear, he had to wonder if Tikaani or Treepie knew about this territory and the pack within. He missed both of them. He wondered if the pelt gifted to him was still in the den, or if it had been discarded of. RE: Refugee - Ajei - July 24, 2025 Ajei's heart went out to him. Of course he could stay. She could not think of any other way. Of course he can stay. That's fine. He may stay with you ir if he'd like we can help him build a space near you. She tilted her head. ::I'm Ajei, my husband Arrluk and I our leaders here. If you have need of us just call. I am also sure anyone in our borders will be glad to get to know you.[/b] RE: Refugee - Raindrop - July 24, 2025 Raindrop was relieved to hear Ajei's words. She had no doubt in her Alpha's, but with the addition of their first litter, she didn't want the new parents to have to worry about feeding themselves and their children. "Thank you, Starwoman." She replied gratefully, "He will stay in my den. I will care for him like he's one of my own." Once Ajei had finished introducing herself, she gave a final nod to her alpha, before turning her attention back to Ludo, "Welcome home, Ludo." "Come, let us go to my den. I will feed you there. You can rest." RE: Refugee - Ludovicus - July 25, 2025 Things went smoothly, and he was promptly offered shelter by Raindrop. She was so kind - he wouldn't have been able to reject her even if he had wanted to. Thank you.He spoke to Ajei, offering her a smile. Ludo made a quiet promise that he would repay the pack for taking him in - he wasn't much of a hunter, defender, or anything at all right now.. but wasn't every great wolf in his place at some point or another? There was no better time to start. Giving the leader another glance, he then prepared to follow Raindrop. |
