beast - Lilimar - August 03, 2025
Months had passed and Lilimar had grown. They had a full coat now, puppy teeth gone and replaced, guard hairs grown in and a beautiful coat of reds revealed. They were gaining a pound per week so long as they were fed properly.
In all of this they had been primarily alone since they were taken from their mother, and especially now that they had left the cavern in which they were held. Scavenging had been a friend to them.
Today they lounged with sea lions, a safe distance from the barking creatures where they had found other predators tended not to bother them due to the presence of the fat seawolves. They had remained in the area for a few days now, growing braver in the face of these strange companions - Lilimar doubted one could catch them should any have the desire to catch the wolf pup.
Yawning, they rested their head on dark paws.
