Off you go - Beau - August 21, 2025

How many months had passed now? Beau should have felt guilty for abandoning Leto and Verapaz, but these days it felt like a weight lifted off of his shoulders and tossed into a deep gorge. Out of sight, out of mind.

He could be carefree once more, sun shining above as he shot through the grass like a bullet. He was after a rabbit today, glad for the thrill and the twitch it put back into his tail. Teeth met flesh in a matter of moments, Beau shaking the small creature once he slowed to a stop.

A small win but a win nonetheless, he dropped the rabbit between his paws to sound out a celebratory howl.

Cassidy had continued to roam, going where the wind blew him. Today, the wind brought him to Hoshor Plains.

Things had changed in the last year, wolves had come, and wolves had gone. This place, this land, felt empty, abandoned. Apart from that, the last year had also changed Cassidy, who was now a mature man. He had filled out; he was muscular (albeit not overly), his coat was plush and healthy, his eye bright. He was an excellent specimen!

He roamed the plains with a new confidence. When the sound of a victorious howl filled the air, he quickly took action. His legs carried him swiftly across the plains. And as soon as he caught the scent of another wolf on the wind, he slowed his pace. It didn’t take him long to spot the wolf; a handsome specimen, like himself. He called out, his voice friendly, welcoming: “Hello! I’m Cassidy! Who might you be?” He kept a respectful distance, to show he meant no harm.

RE: Off you go - Beau - August 21, 2025

It seemed that his victory had attracted an audience, Beau eyeing up a young male as he approached. Beau Cassidy. He responded, quickly amused by the coincidence.

What're you doing out n' about, pretty boy? He snickered, tail waving behind him. I don't see too many faces no more. He hadn't minded for a while, but it was good to see someone new.

Picking his rabbit back up, Beau kept his approach respectful and maintained distance. New accquaintance or not, he needed to find somewhere to eat.
