Bury your body in my - Lucette - September 12, 2025
The sound. Lucette paced the outskirts of the forest, growling softly to herself and starting back abruptly each time she tried to step toward the beach. She knew @Sobeille would be there. That was the difficult part.
She could have called for her sister, of course. But somehow that felt too much like admitting she'd done something wrong by leaving in the first place. Which Lucette very much felt was the case — but of course she could never admit it. Especially not to Sobeille herself.
She'd been trying to support @Lafayette, trying to rekindle their bond, trying... but the old justifications tasted stale on her tongue by now. Lucette had stayed longer than she'd meant. She'd left her family's legacy to crumble into the wind. How could she just stroll into the place her sister now called home?
How could she call for her like they were strangers?
So she paced instead.

many emotions rippled under her skin as she moved towards the svelte silhouette of her pacing sister. sobeille expected Lafayette’s shadow to emerge at any moment, but lucette’s sides remained starkly solitaire.
no words left her tense jaws; instead, the cold of her yellow eyes spoke for her.
