A quick meeting to give out new tasks and announce the move to everyone icly. Single replies are welcome! Mild PP in assuming the message is delivered to everyone in the pass, but let me know if this isn't okay and I'll take note that your toon hasn't been told. The time to tell the pack of his plans had come. Kemal had spent days thinking over each word, envisioning the future he hoped for. Verapaz had grown, and would continue to grow, so long as they kept momentum.
Verapaz must step into new light. No longer will leaders sit by while good men and women die. He had said, remaining vague so as to avoid mentions of Soto. We move north, to the mesa. From there we grow green next to a guarded lake, find new wolves to call our friends. A safer life, away from merciless lands. We deserve a home free of enemies, where our children can grow without a future determined by a segundo who only sees the world through profit.
Follow me, and together we not only survive, but prosper.
He thought he had sounded much like his father. Chilling, but his father had been a successful leader once.
First come the tasks of the newcomers.
For @Panacea, they are told to begin the trip towards the mesa. Straight up the pass, he will only need to follow the water to find it. Look for any wolves who may reside there, speak to them of Verapaz. Attempt to recruit them, or chase them away if necessary. They are to retreat and call for help if things go sour.
@Margarida is told to prepare their remaining resources for the trip. Wrap them in pelts, and bring them to the north end of the pass to be carried away when they leave.
When the move to the mesa is completed, each will be promoted so long as they do not neglect these orders. Kemal promises that much.
Finally, @Dracarys is asked to complete the most difficult task; Kemal wants him to approach Redhawk Caldera. Mask his scent. Find out how many are inside, and more importantly, just how guarded they are. He knows things will change before Verapaz is nearly large enough to be a threat, but it is necessary knowledge. If there is reason to retreat, do so with haste and do not run immediately home.
The meeting is finished with a simple, final statement from the Águila: remember the omerta you swore to.
