get in the van - Disa - October 05, 2025
@Panacea was an ambiguous-looking wolf - willowy, with the soft lines of women, but here and there a sharp angle that confused the whole. Disa studied them from afar while she made plans to disassemble the green, watched as they moved and hunted and burned with an energy that looked like it shared a mother with fear.
On the third day since her return, she sought out the fox-wolf in the dim light of pre-dawn. A dark silhouette appeared, and as she so often did, Disa skipped straight to presenting her business, "I need help with the garden."

The pale-eyed wolf who approached him wasn't anyone Panacea recognized — but he supposed that was only to be expected. He'd been avoiding company. It was best that way, he figured, while he healed; less opportunity for his new packmates to look at him and see a burden.
Apparently he didn't need to worry about that with this woman. He nodded once when she spoke, recalling passing mentions of plants but nothing specific.
Lead the way, then,Panacea invited, swallowing his questions for now. He was sure he would find out soon enough.

Panacea followed without question and, like Disa, did not waste time on introductions. It made her feel strangely at ease. So much so that the next words out of her mouth as they walked through the half-dark were: "You smell a bit." She had smelled like that not too long ago, after that first near-fatal hunt with Kemal and Safiya had left her with a rip in her thigh and an infection. "You can sit in the river," she advised.
