Darkness incarnate after all - Etienne - October 23, 2025 Etienne moved boldly through the forest of raven's. He knew it well. Every step, leading him further into the center. He had become a bit ghostlike. Everyone was gone. Frankly he often wondered if he should leave too. But where would an orphan go? Where would a male who likes males go? That he wouldn't be killed as soon as they found out. The world was large and scary and he was still a scared boy in the chest of his. Golden gaze on the horizon. The weeks of constant ranging showing in his pelt, in his size, in his gait. RE: Darkness incarnate after all - Seraphine - October 23, 2025 Seraphine had followed her heart down the coastline. The trip had treated her well, a mix of stray boys, sympathetic women, and abandoned carcasses keeping her fed. She had been taught better than to hunt for herself. She knew from the salt-thick breeze and the familiarity beneath her paws that she was going the right way, but the moment she reached the forest a sense of dread filled her. She didn't know why, or rather she couldn't remember. Something of it was familiar though, she knew from the horrible ache in her heart. Maybe it wasn't so strange then, when she thought she saw a ghost ahead of her. She couldn't move, tense paws frozen to the ground as she stared ahead at a face she thought should be familiar. RE: Darkness incarnate after all - Etienne - October 24, 2025 Etienne did not stray from his path. His was of simple minded focus. And there was no end game, not really. He simply wanted to find a lazy patch of moss and lay down. Away from prying eyes and the sea. The sea who had taken everything and given everything and he both hated and loved her. The healer was not alone and sea born raised his head to meet the gaze of another. Eyes he recognized pelt too, but her name eluded him. HE tilted his head. Golden gaze warm. 'ello. I be Etienne. |
