[BWH] Healers united - Alaric - November 14, 2025
As the hunters all began to hunt. Alaric had begun to set up a small healer's circle nearby. He was slightly irritated that he did not have a large number of healers. This would mean if there were injuries they would be hard pressed. But he hoped they could manage. Even though Kinusi had given the she wolf a hard time. Alaric had not said anything to her. He had slight hope that the elder healer would have come, but she had stayed behind. They would make do with what they could.
He put soft furs over for any injuries. Made sure to have moss with water. Cobwebs to stop bleeding. And herbs to help with pain.

It was the scent of herbs which drew Chinook nearer. It was by scent alone that she had grown so fondly of plants and learning of their uses. The first time she had smelt peppermint, lavender and basil...
The young wolf breaths in deeply, following the trail until she is met with a single dark man tidying up the area with pelts and plants alike.

Ajei was not a healer in the normal sense. She did not know more than the basic herbs and the basic ways to treat sickness. But she knew work and dedication and she knew kindness. and sometimes that was more important in a wolf's hours than non. So she made her way to the Healer's circle after her own daughter. Murmuring a soft hello to teh wolf Alaric who she had known for sometime. A gentle kiss to her daughters brow. And she busied herself with the task of clearing and clearning any furs. Moving them about and taking stock of what herbs Alaric had brought and what she may need to find.

He was quiet when he arrived. But the scent of other's and the smell of herbs calmed him. He gazed at the younger girl, years of hardness in his eyes, but they still did not hold the darkness so many had tried to give him. Golden eyes of kindness.

Kinusi found the wolves quiet and came in loud and free like she always did. Her voice ringing out.

She chin bumped her dad and winked at the little pup. Her gaze going to the small places she could help.
Me I think I'm gonna sort through cobwebs and reed fluff. There maybe some bleeing around here.
Another wink and she trotted onward and into the circle. Voice already ringing out in song.

Chinook smiled to her mother who had followed her trail, as she lifted her head into the kiss at her brow given to her. Her mother began tidying up furs and organizing stacks. As far as Chinook was aware, her mother was found often working pelts when she was not fishing, often down stream from her father now that she and her sister were old enough to be on their own. Neither parent were healers...
Yet Chinook had taken a liking to healing by even the lightest of stores her mother held and the memory of Moonwoman spoken to her and how mighty a medicine woman she was. The smells enticing and inviting: sweet, bitter, spicy, fresh... Her father too, whispering to their mother, of the new woman @Ippiksaut who knew of the old ways. Then the pair from the Healer's Guide had arrived. Now this. The signs made for Chinook's path grew. She would learn these things in honor of the great mother of the villages before her.
