redjaw does not remember life upon nova peak, but he knows the stories of how his father had been compelled by his mother to at last put down his axe and know peace for sometime.
a bizarre concept to nowkē who is hot with battle blood and a founded desire to protect his new kith upon the rise. he spares the time on this day to leave and venture east to the peak.
he walks along old trails, tugging bearskin further up his withers and setting his blue stare over the gorgeous, snowy height.
he thinks of @Moon Runner and @Red Dusk. he thinks of those to come. it is a quiet, rare introspective moment for the youth who only ever fills his mind with careful thoughts of guarding and hunting.
nowkē turns his dark head and scents at the passing wind.
