ten percent luck, twenty percent skill - Wyeth - January 03, 2015

@Faline backdated to before they met Mara or Runt

Olive eyes scanned the clearing warily, whoever brought him here knew what he was doing. Wyeth knew it was a good wolf, for that wolf had binded healing herbs to his wounds and stopped the blood from leaking using cobwebs. However his savior was nowhere to be seen, all that remained was a faint scent. It seems he had been unconscious for quite a while, the regal's muscles were tense as if ready for a fight. He had no idea where he was and what he was doing here, and he knew he would probably never find out.

Tigerheart set off deeper into the woods, intending to find some food to eat, he was a better fighter than a hunter. But fighting moves could easily turn into hunting moves, so truthfully the agouti did not lack in either department. There seemed to be no one nearby, bears would be hibernating in winter so he didn't need to worry about them, unless there happened to be a crazy maniac one who didn't need to hibernate and just happened to be in this area. The chances of that were little, but Wyeth always had the least luck.

Do you mean for Faline to be the mysterious unknown wolf? I shall change it if that is the case!

The snowy woods were cold and almost utterly devoid of life this far into the wilderness. The coldest heart of the forest lay here, the section where hibernating bears slept through the winter and the home of a lone wolf Faline knew quite well, a healer who helped strangers and lone wolves and wolves equally.

And this wolf, whom she could see from the rise she was crouched on, was possible one of those lucky wolves who were found and treated by the mysterious wolf, who often went unseen and unheard. She began to make her way down the rise, heading to where she could see the agouti searching the woods for any small prey. She knew there was one of her caches in the woods, so the injured wolf would be able to partake of them, if he was non-aggressive.

"Hello there, I am Faline. Do you need help?"

No, he was supposed to be some mysterious NPC xD

"Hello there, I am Faline. Do you need help?" Wyeth turned around quickly, fierce olive eyes spotting the russet figure, he was expressionless and wary of the stranger. After all he had just been treated by a random stranger, was she the one? No, her scent didn't match the one he smelled by the den, however faint that one was. Hey Faline, the words rolled off his tongue smoothly, a light accent coating it.

I'm fine, just looking for some prey. He spoke smoothly, not bothering introducing himself. Even now, Tigerheart did not know whether to introduce himself by his real name or by his nickname, his alias. Someone could always use his real name against him after all, perhaps introducing himself as Tigerheart was better. Yeah, it was better. You know anywhere good for hunting? Wyeth asked her, not wanting to have a fight so soon after recovery.

She did not miss the lack of name presented by the olive eyed male but she could not fault him for that. This was a harsh world, one where a wolf could trust few and trust fully even fewer. Faline nodded to his greeting, stance still solid and strong in her build as she stood her ground. If the wolf tried something, she wanted to be ready to move and defend herself. She could see the wound on his shoulder and though she was not comfortable with strangers, she would not be able to care for herself if she didn't not at least help a wolf who was injured.

I know a few places but perhaps they might be a little far for your shoulder. I have a cache nearby, if you wish to partake of it and gain strength before you engage in a hunt.

"I know a few places but perhaps they might be a little far for your shoulder. I have a cache nearby, if you wish to partake of it and gain strength before you engage in a hunt." Wyeth was surprised at the other wolf's seemingly willingness to help him, they did not know each other, they were strangers. Yet she seemed perfectly alright to offer him some food from one of her caches. The cinnamon agouti was not one of those extremely proud wolves who refused to take easy meals like this because they thought it was beneath them. As a trained spy, warrior and assassin, he knew that opportunities like this did not come often and when they did, to always take it.

Tigerheart dipped his head to the female politely, If it wouldn't be too much trouble, he accepted respectfully. The food could be poisoned, so he had to be on his guard. Some wolves might think him too cautious, why would some stranger want to kill another stranger like you? Some were simply insane, others may have been hired by his enemies. Life was many fighting roles had taught him to never lower his guard, it still stuck, even after so many months.
