Upon the Silence of the Sea - Cry - January 05, 2015

@Ragnar :) whenever you have the time.

Cry had begun his job, determined to make his stay one of permanence at the Bay. The shadow prince had no intention of returning to the wanderlust burning within his soul, the very essence itself being what kept him from making friends, from associatin with family...well,..the little family that remained.
If they remained, at all.

And so far, his job had not been one that could be labeled as 'easy'. Seemingly, everything tried to deter him from his newly appointed duty, and he ensured he would not tolerate such an act, by pushing through. Determination was a strong weapon when held properly.
And if anything, he would attempt to rise through the ranks, proving his worth to the family he had now thrown his services to. He would die in the name of this pack.

With a final tug, Cry yanked the fallen trunk of drift wood like tree from the top of the rabbit hole, nearly shredding his face on the dried and sharpened branch, however only escaping the dangerous wood with a fresh cut on his left cheek, right underneath his eye.

Great. More scars to add to the list, Cry. Must you forever be the hideous beast you are? All scarred and battle worn like some savage?

In truth, he didn't mind the scars. Not even the slashes on his back. Hell, from what he had witnessed, they resembled wings. He could have been an arch angel.
The new scar didn't differ besides the body area and design. Giving him the wire of someone who escaped blinding.
From a tree.

Cry murdered the rabbits who slept through the winters frost, the family of 6 having been slaughtered in their own home.
You win some, you lose some.
He then took the corpses farther back to the barely forested land, digging up an empty cache, and plopping the 5th catch of the day within The hole.
He then decided to take a breath, instead, making his way to the beach. It wasn't too long before the soft crashing of frosty waters dominated his auds. He padded over to the waters edge, staring out to the fridges waves.
