Recovery - Rain - January 15, 2015 @seronda @Nishu Inte This is a step back in the story line, something that had needed to be done, but I had forgotten. :x
After leaving Amekaze, Rain begins to seek out the healer. She turns to go back to the spot where Malliadh had been digging for herbs. Her wounds from the fight with Ankyra hurt horribly and continue to bleed. She only hopes to find the healer before passing out along the way. The bite on her neck is the worst of it, bleeding more freely than the little nicks on her body. She places one paw in front of the other, concentrating on keeping herself going. Her thoughts drift to Nishu, wondering how badly he is injured as well. They both could use a good long rest. Coming upon the spot where Malliadh had been, Rain doesn't spot the gentle wolf. Her digging spots were covered, she sniffs one and catches the scent of an herb unknown to her. "Malliadh?" She calls out, sniffing around the area. But the healer must have moved on because her scent was stale. Rain sits down hard, her legs shaking from exhaustion. She can't go any further. Since the herbs are here, she bets that the healer will be back. Or hopes she will be. Rain falls to the ground, laying on her side and proceeds to pass out. RE: Recovery - Nishu Inte - January 15, 2015 After the meeting with the leader Nishu followed Rain. The goal was to get to the healer stationed somewhere around Sunspire. Nishu wouldn't have any idea where to look but he wasn't interested in a healer. He rather rely on his self recovery than any outside help. His own injuries had closed up but only lightly, If he did anything a bit rough then those bites on his neck will likely open again. So far they remain closed but as for Rain it would seem her injuries have not settled. Even if Nishu's wounds were closed they were still stinging but it wasn't something that would stop him. As he watch Rain he could see that her condition was just worse than his. She must have been exhausted from all her travels and then came the fight with Ankyra which ended badly. She may be naturally strong but was she used to this kind of phyiscal strain? Nishu had already recover half from his fatigue since the night at the springs. It was something he was used to thanks to training himself daily. When Rain fells to her side he rushed to her. "Rain?!" He said worriedly. Seeing how she about to pass out he felt like he needed to do something quickly. He tried remember what he was thought about healing but it was something he was never good with. Instead he decided that he should called out for the healer. He proceeded to yell at the top of his lungs. "Healer of Sunpire! I call for your assistance!" He sat down next to Rain and started watching the surroundings for any signs of a wolf. His injuries may have cracked but that's not what he was worried about. RE: Recovery - Seronda - January 17, 2015 Seronda had only recently returned from her visit to the sea, in which a stupid brute attacked her for no reason! Her wounds were of little concern, she had treated them with various herbs the day she had returned to the Sunspire. Her little trip had cleared her mind, and she was eager to meet her pack mates. However, what she was least expecting was the heavy smell of blood. Sick with fear, Seronda quickly followed the scent trail. Thousands of possibilitys raced through her mind, none of them good. Had the pack been attacked? Perhaps that was a little overreaction, but Seronda couldn't stop the depressing thoughts. Finally, she made out the form of two wolves. As she drew near, she noticed one laying down, the other standing. Both where wounded, and both carried the scent of the Sunspire. Confident they posed no threat to her, she approached the unknown wolves cautiously. This wasn't the way she had hoped to meet her pack mates. The one laying down was bleed profusely, the most noticeable wound was the angry bite mark on her neck. The two must have been higher ranking then her, but nether less she did not stop and submit. Looking at the male with worried eyes, Seronda questioned him. "Who are you? What happened?" RE: Recovery - Nishu Inte - January 19, 2015 I got permission to skip Rain since she is passed out. I don't know for how long but we will see. As he waited, time felt as if it was passing by slowly. Why did he think Rain would recover as well as he did? Maybe if he had done something before perhaps he could have kept her from passing out now. He felt as if it was his fault that Rain was suffering. What had him really worried was believing that she could actually die like this. He didn't have the knowledge to help her which bothered him the most. The sudden appearence of another wolf put his spirit a little bit at ease. The healer right? He hoped so. The wolf approached them and analyzed the situation, then questioned him. Nishu didn't think there was time for explaining nor for introductions. "I can explain later. Taking care of her injuries is more important than anything right now." He said as he looked down at Rain's injuries. "It is not yet your time Rain, so I ask that you please hold on." Then looking that the supposed healer. "You are the healer right? Tell me if there is something I can do to help her." He said a bit hastly. Then he focused back on Rain, thinking of what he could try to do. He was still worried but tried not to show it. It was moments like these that make him want to remember what all his teachers told him. It was too bad he didn't show any good skills in those subjects. He was going to need to learn this is order to be the greatest Knight. Now Nishu is alot more motivated to learn arts that he was not interested in before. |
