Recent events had left Bazi with a desperate need to arm herself. Even though the difference between her and a truly large wolf wasn't exactly massive - like the difference between a bear and its cub - it was enough to put her at a disadvantage. She was fragile, soft, and it was a feeling the Creek Alpha hated.
That morning, she awoke feeling determined. With a parting kiss, she left Scimitar to wake up in his own time and set out to find his sister. They were long overdue a catch-up, and Bazi had a favour to ask. She traversed the flatlands around the Creek at a brisk trot, ears high and swivelling to catch any sounds that might lead her to the second Swiftcurrent Frostfur.
