the reaper does not weep - Razorback - February 09, 2015

Razorback now had more information on what to do in regards to their enemies. This being known, the molten-eyed wolf kept to the borders just in case one of those enemies might show up. Where she had come from, this was not a rarity. There were many impudent canines that thought it wise to trespass. Of course, Razorback did not care for hypocrisy then, and that her old leader caused her to be one in raids. That was a command. And she did not disobey.

But with the passing of her leader came her moving on. Her interest did not lay in the bones of the territory or the weak beings that came and went. She feared she might kill her own subordinates were she a leader due to how fickle they could be. And she could not follow those she lorded over prior. So she simply left.

And here she was. Razorback was pleased to know that this pack was not so very peaceful, and that they had enemies. It meant she might have something to do, wolves to truly protect. So she scoured the borders, hungry for a wolf without sense to test her.

RE: the reaper does not weep - Scimitar - February 21, 2015

So few came these days to their borders -- at first, the agouti male had wondered if it should be something to be distraught about.. especially given their numbers had decreased. Now, he took it was a blessing. The few that remained were a loyal crew, though he was certainly distrusting of Star and her newfound attitude -- but life moved forward even still, despite Trajan now being gone as well.

One new member they did have could be found quite often along the borders. Razorback was a mystery to him -- but one that did not draw weary suspicion in himself. Seeing her now, her darker features stark against the pale snow, he uttered a low bark of a greeting to her, his stance lifting naturally, despite his healing injuries. "How are you settling in?" His tone was quiet as he moved closer, and pulling alongside her in step, the Alpha drew his bright aqua eyes from her to scan across the horizon.

Soon, their scenery would change.
