You were lookin' at me [M] - Elwood - February 14, 2015

This is meant to be set just a smidge after their last thread, maybe a coupla hours or the next day. :)

There were so many questions left unanswered in Elwood's mind, but the usually logical wolf set them aside for the time being. The last week had been an absolute rollercoaster of emotions; looking back, however, he didn't want to change a thing. Everything that had happened had led him to @Finley and while their relationship was still very much undefined, he was glad to know that they shared the same feelings.

He tried to resume his duties but found it was difficult to do so without thinking about her. It was a little ridiculous, he knew, but between patrolling the borders, filling the caches, and checking on Somnia, Finley was constantly in his head. At some point, he intended to talk to Peregrine and tell him what had happened; it was partially thanks to the Alpha male that Elwood had been able to muster up the courage to tell Finley how he felt. For now, he kept the news to himself, enjoying it privately and soaking up every last drop of happiness.

In truth, it had only been a short while since he and Finley had "confessed" to one another, but already Elwood was tracking her down. He didn't want to smother her -- and hoped she wouldn't feel that way -- but he wanted to revel in their newness with her. He followed her scent as it criss-crossed across the caldera, yellow eyes bright and ears pricked attentively.

RE: You were lookin' at me - Finley - February 14, 2015

It hadn't been all too long since their little confessional rendezvous, and Fin was proud to say she'd only had two panic attacks and one near complete emotional collapse. Most of it had happened in the privacy of her own home, though, so that was a good thing. It was when she drew her drama out into the public eye that she knew she was in it dangerously deep. It was very lucky for numerous reasons that she was a member of the Caldera. A tighter-knit, more supportive pack had never existed. And thank god for that because in her darkest moments, Finley certainly needed all the support she could get.

Today was not one of those days however. She stepped out into the daylight in a particularly.. shiny mood. And holy crap did she miss him. And so, just Elwood was searching for her, so too was Fin for him, which made the whole attempt that much easier to succeed in. After a little less than an hour, she finally spotted him - a peppery blot on the Caldera's landscape. Her tail began to wag furiously as she caught his scent. It would've been a great opportunity to sneak up on him, but she was too excited, so she darted right after him until she was trotting merrily up to his side.

"What do you think, Agent Twig," Fin said, donning her most serious of tones, "Any sign of them?"

RE: You were lookin' at me - Elwood - February 15, 2015

Though he was determined to track down Finley, she was the one that found him. He heard the pattering of paws behind him and looked up just in time to see her approaching. His face creased into a grin and his tail sliced the air behind him with a renewed energy as she joined him at his side. He didn't break his stride and continued to move forward, but veered just far enough to bump her affectionately with his shoulder and hip.

"Not having much luck, Agent Bear," he reported, taking on a solemn tone. He couldn't believe that things were so normal between them already -- granted, he expected there to be various bumps in the road (and he might have been more worried if he knew about Finley's mental breakdowns), but their interactions came so naturally.

"You showed up just in time to help me," Elwood added, pretending that he had been searching for something other than Finley. She had been the only thing on his radar for the last few hours, and would probably stay there for quite a bit longer.

RE: You were lookin' at me - Finley - February 15, 2015

Finley felt an excited tingle at his touch and she had to resist tackling him right then and there just so she could be nearer to him. It was funny really, all those times she tackled him before had been for the very same reason. She'd just never realized it until now. Huh. She wondered how many other clever moves she made without realizing what it was she was trying to achieve.

Elwood fell right in line with her game, one of the many reasons she loved him. GASP! Her brain said it! Maybe this really was getting easier. She smirked at his reply. He was doing well with getting the whole secretive thing, but he wasn't quite understanding what the ultimate goal here was. "Good, good," she replied with a devious grin, "Did you set the traps?" He'd get it sooner or later, Fin was certain.

RE: You were lookin' at me - Elwood - February 15, 2015

It was true -- Elwood wasn't catching on to the intent behind Finley's play scheme, though that didn't stop him from contributing. She asked him about traps, to which he nodded his head firmly; of course he had done that! "Yes ma'am," he replied obediently, slowing his pace slightly and hoping that she would do the same.

Just being in Finley's presence was enough to change Elwood's whole attitude; his spirits had lifted as soon as she approached. He had been basically floating on clouds before her arrival, but he was infinitely happy with her near. Unable to wipe the smile from his face, he cast a sidelong glance at her; it didn't matter what they were doing, as long as they were together.

Dropping his voice to a whisper, he murmured, "What are we looking for?" It was no secret that Finley was the creative mastermind, while he simply followed along.

RE: You were lookin' at me - Finley - February 15, 2015

Fin suppressed the grin that tugged at the corners of her lips as Elwood gave his obedient response. He was such a delightfully good sport, playing along even though he had no idea what his decisively more evil better half was plotting. She slowed to a near stop as they came near the base of a small ridge, looking this way and that for some invisible enemy.

When finally she came to a stop, she kept her head turned away from Elwood as she made her final observations. "We're looking to make sure the coast is clear," she replied, the tip of her tail twitching eagerly as she waited to hear his response.

RE: You were lookin' at me - Elwood - February 15, 2015

As Finley slowed down and eventually stopped, Elwood followed her lead. He had started out leading the "hunt," but he was happy to pass the responsibility to her. "We're looking to make sure the coast is clear," she instructed, and he nodded his agreement. He didn't notice that she was purposefully looking away from him; instead, he lowered his head to the ground and began to sniff, as though searching for any scents that would betray the presence of whatever mysterious creature they had been searching for but now appeared to be avoiding.

He made a show of investigating the vicinity, straying a few feet from Finley's side before circling back towards her. Looking around, he established that they really were alone -- there was no wildlife to be seen. Even the birds that were likely in the trees overhead were quiet. "I think we're safe..." he murmured as he closed the gap between them.

RE: You were lookin' at me - Finley - February 15, 2015

Even though the whole game was just that - a game, Fin truly was sniffing about and scoping out the area to make sure there was no one to be seen. It wasn't that she wasn't find of her pack mates, it was just... Well, after Fin had admitted her feelings for the handsome beta, she'd come up with a sort of check list for herself. Things she wanted to accomplish before she felt she could really settle into the whole relationship thing. Some of it was the obvious take-care-of-your-emotional-baggage-mountain type of thing. Some was just other less important stuff like cleaning out her den cause she's a slob and her home was actually rather tiny.

Then there was this task, which she was actually most eager to take care of. With a devious little smile, she turned to face Elwood. "Perfect," she said in a low voice, almost a gentle purr. With that, she pounced at him, aiming to push him back against the wall of the ridge where she fully intended to shower his face and neck with sweet little kisses.

RE: You were lookin' at me - Elwood - February 16, 2015

D'awww. <3

When Finley swung to face him, her lips were curved into a devilish smile. Elwood took an anticipatory step back, but she had already laid her trap -- even as he moved away, she coiled her haunches beneath her and pounced. She landed lightly on him, but with enough force to push him up against the rock wall behind them. Successfully, she pinned his shoulders so that he was standing upright, almost like a bear (how ironic!).

He laughed and squirmed half-heartedly, twisting his neck to and fro as he attempted to avoid the barrage of kisses. After only a few seconds of this faux effort, however, he gave in and allowed her to take the upper hand. There would be no further protest from the Beta male, just childlike laughter and the occasional squeal as she nipped at a ticklish spot.

RE: You were lookin' at me - Finley - February 16, 2015

Elwood struggled against her affection for a few moments, but eventually settled in to taking it like a man. A giggly, ticklish man, which merely delighted the Blackthorn all the more. When eventually she'd decided he'd had enough of the facial (I'M SUCH A TEN YEAR OLD BOY) .......facial, she hopped backwards a couple of inches to give him a mischevious smile, humor still sparkling in her eyes.

"Have you had enough, agent?" she asked with a toothy grin. She sincerely hoped that he hadn't. Their closeness had lit a fire in her blood that she had no desire to distinguish now, and so it really didn't matter whether or not he tried to raise the white flag.

RE: You were lookin' at me - Elwood - February 16, 2015

No school tomorrow yaaaaaay!!! Sleet day, haha.

He actually felt a little disappointed when she finally released him, backing up just far enough to let him lower his forepaws to the ground. As he looked at her, though, he realized that their play session didn't have to be over. He was just as capable of continuing as she was, although he kind of liked that she had taken the lead.

Elwood took a step towards her, his tail lashing the air behind him and brushing against the stony surface of the wall. Luckily for him, she didn't seem to be finished with him yet; and there was something about her expression and her tone of voice that enticed him. There was an unfamiliar stirring in the pit of his belly, and hunger flashed in his eyes as he regarded her with a slow smirk.

After a long pause, he answered in a low, gravelly rumble. "...No, I haven't," he replied, tucking his chin mischievously. What else did she have up her sleeve?

RE: You were lookin' at me - Finley - February 17, 2015

Elwood responded, his words clearly painted with intrigue. Fin regarded him with fondness in her molten chocolate eyes. She hadn't put too much space between them when she'd ended her previous attack, but somehow when she moved towards him, she felt as though she were stepping closer to him than she ever had before. Very softly, she nuzzled the tip of his nose before sliding her muzzle down his chin towards his throat, her tongue and teeth gently touching his fur alone the way. A low growl hummed in her chest like a purr, content, but longing for more of him.

They were moves she'd made many times in her life (more than she hoped Elwood would EVER find out about), and yet they somehow felt brand new. There was a touch of coyness in her actions that she'd never felt with others. Maybe it was because she'd never felt this level of connection with someone before. Maybe she'd never loved anyone before like she loved Elwood. Or, maybe it was she to her primal need to stake her claim over him so that no other female *cough*Grimm*cough* could ever touch him again. But whatever the case was, her nerves were tingling as she explored his chest and shoulders with her kisses.

RE: You were lookin' at me - Elwood - February 17, 2015

*puts an "m" in the title...*

Elwood didn't know how experienced Finley was in this department, but it seemed as though he was about to find out. Her flirtatious past was a mystery; if he ever learned of it, there would likely be a spark of jealousy within him, but it wasn't something he would fault her for. How could he, when he had been intimate with Grimm?

The Redhawk subordinate was the furthest thing from his mind as Finley showered him with kisses, her mouth slowly descending from his muzzle to his chin to his throat. Elwood shifted his weight, gritting his teeth as a soft moan escaped him; he wasn't making comparisons to Grimm, but if he had, this would have been worlds apart. There was a palpable tension between himself and Finley, a longing that was beyond words.

Gradually, she made her way to his shoulders; though there wasn't much of her that he could reach from their stance, he bowed his head and nipped at her ears. These sensations were new to him, and he nonverbally encouraged her to continue.

RE: You were lookin' at me [M] - Finley - February 19, 2015

Lol we can skip the graphic details :p

Fin needed no encouragement to keep going down the path she was headed. Elwood was much unlike any man she'd ever known in many ways, but in this one way, she was quite confident that he was very much the same - He would not be telling her to stop any time soon. It was an assumption she would have made regardless of the evidence he'd already given her of it, which was the fact that he hadn't said no to the subordinate he'd hardly even known when she'd wanted this very thing from him. But Fin wasn't going to think of that right now, even as the mental image threatened again to invade. As much as "sealing the deal" had made it to her checklist because of the black slut, she hadn't been the only reason, and in that moment, she wasn't a reason at all. Only he was.

Finley continued her frontal exploration a little while longer, poking and nibbling as she went, simply wanting to know every inch of him. She wanted to touch every spot, to memorize every part of him and of this experience she wanted to share with him. Eventually, she felt satisfied that she'd teased him enough, so slowly she stepped forward and brushed past his shoulder and ran her muzzle along the back of his neck and down his spine until she was standing alongside of him. After resisting the urge to nip his cute little bum, she turned to look back at him over her shoulder, her tail curling playfully, teasingly under his chin while she gazed lovingly at his eyes.

RE: You were lookin' at me [M] - Elwood - February 19, 2015

Don't wanna get in troubles! :P

Finley's gentle ministrations continued for a time, and when she withdrew he looked down at her, concerned that she was finished with their little game. She didn't leave him hanging for long, though; her next move was to press her slender body against his, creating friction from his withers to his hindquarters as she traced down his length. It was a simple and relatively innocent act, but it caused Elwood to draw his breath in sharply as he curved his neck to watch her.

When she stopped, they were standing shoulder to hip. The Beta male was veritably thrumming with anticipation, and when she tickled him gently with her tail, his mind all but went blank. Without hesitation, he pivoted, turning in a smooth circle until he stood behind her. This experience was so much different than the one with Grimm -- not only was his body reacting instinctively to Finley, but his heart, too, was fully invested.

With a rumble, he pressed his chest against her haunches, snapping softly at the fine silver hair on the small of her back. Slowly, and while carefully trying to make sure he was reading her signals correctly, he wrapped his forelegs around her waist; he was certain that she could feel the hammering of his heart against his ribcage.

RE: You were lookin' at me [M] - Finley - February 19, 2015

It seemed that Elwood didn't need instruction on what to do next, nor did he need any encouragement to go for it. Fin was grateful for it, if only for the fact that it excited her even more knowing his own eagerness for her. As he reared up onto her back, she swept her tail to the side with an excited growl. She was intoxicated by his weight upon her, the feeling of his breath against her neck, the hold of his arms upon her hips. As she pushed backwards against him, her mind emptied. All thoughts of why they were doing this, why it felt so amazingly different doing this with someone she loved. All of those thoughts were gone, and there was only him and the ecstasy of this new level of connection between them.

AND THEN THEY KERFLOMPLED LIKE WOMP WOMP.

RE: You were lookin' at me [M] - Elwood - February 19, 2015

From that point on, everything happened naturally. It was as if they were meant for each other; there was a whole new level of intimacy that Elwood hadn't achieved with Grimm. They settled into a rhythm and...well, they kerflompled.

It was perfect; it was better than Elwood could have ever dreamed. Looking back on it later, he would regret that Finley wasn't his first -- but the past was in the past and there was nothing that could be done to change it. Besides, he still firmly believed that he and Finley wouldn't have come to their senses without Grimm's help. But those thoughts wouldn't cross his mind for quite some time -- presently, he eased himself back; as soon as his forepaws hit the ground, he stepped forward and pressed himself to Finley's side.

Bowing his head, he tucked his crown into the crook of her neck. There were no words that could be said to sum up his feelings for her in that moment; he was overwhelmed and happy and, most of all, in love.

RE: You were lookin' at me [M] - Finley - February 20, 2015

By the time they were finished, Finley could feel her heart pounding in her throat. Her body continued to tremble even as Elwood dismounted and leaned into her side. She pressed her weight against him as well, leaning over as he set his head against her neck to place a series of gentle licks upon his forehead.

For a little while, she said nothing, simply settled down onto her haunches, cuddling up to her lover. When finally her breath calmed and her mind began to remember what words were, she gave a happy sigh and looked at him. "Nicely done, Agent Twig," she said quietly with a cheeky little grin.

RE: You were lookin' at me [M] - Elwood - February 22, 2015

New thread? <3

Elwood felt as though he was enveloped in a sense of peace he had never before experienced. He wanted to remember this very moment forever; in fact, he never wanted the moment to end. They had reached a level of connection that he didn't know existed. It went beyond the physical experience -- they were entwined emotionally, as well.

The silence between them was effortless, and there was nothing he could say to sum up his feelings. In true Finley fashion, however, she congratulated him after a long, heavy pause, bringing a smile to his face. He nipped gently at the tip of one silver ear, a chuckle rising from his chest.

"You weren't so bad yourself, Agent Bear," he replied; already he was yearning for her touch again, which would become a nearly insatiable desire over the next few days.

RE: You were lookin' at me [M] - Finley - February 22, 2015

yeeeeees! :D

There had always been something undeniable about their chemistry - a fact that had only grown absurdly apparent once Fin had stopped denying it. Leaning against him then, she felt perfectly content and oddly.. whole. Like she hadn't really been complete before this moment. It was a strange feeling, and one that Fin would surely shake off in the minutes to come as it was rather startling and she didn't quite know what to make of it - which obviously meant that it had to go. Eventually, they would work on little things like that together, but for now, they settled back into their usual Finwood banter with ease.

She chuckled at his response and poked her nose against his for a brief moment before getting up and shaking her coat. "Come on, Agent Twig," she said, turning to him, "You owe me dinner after that one." She planted a quick kiss on his muzzle before darting off with Elwood right at her side.
