someplace else - Supernova - February 20, 2015 Nova is looking to join a pack, so anyone from OS, RHC, or STM is welcome! :D
So far the only interesting wolf she had met was Sinaaq, but he was far from the only interesting wolf in this place. Right? He had to be. Nova was convinced that she wasn't surrounded by boring idiots, but there was always room for error, not that she'd ever admit she was wrong around anything. Young, headstrong, and loyal to a fault, that was our Supernova here. She walked along the edge of a large lake, noticing the flicker of fish in its depths only a few yards from the shallows. If she were a better swimmer, she might have braved the frigid water to catch a fish or two, but she wasn't a very good fisher, truth be told. She was better at catching rabbits and the occasional squirrel, a land-locked activity, than she was doing anything near the water. Winter was upon them here and it was beginning to show in her skin and bones. Her fur was beginning to thin, her skin flaked when touched, and she felt awful, mostly because she had little to eat on a normal basis and her ribs stuck out at odd angles. She'd have to find a pack, and soon, if she was going to keep up her well groomed appearance. RE: someplace else - Bindi - February 21, 2015 After running into Mordecai, the midnight wolfess was back to searching for Runt's hide out. Bindi was determined to find Whitewater Gorge, and trade the information with the Spine wolves. Out again out on one of her little adventures, Bindi started heading towards a lake she spotted from Silvertip. It didn't take long for the obsidian female to notice she wasn't alone. Deciding she wasn't in the mood to mess around with others, Bindi approached the stranger with her head held high. "Hello" she greeted the strange female with smile. Honestly the only reason Bindi was even talking to this female, was only because the midnight wolfess was bored. Hopefully this stranger will cure her boredom. RE: someplace else - Supernova - February 22, 2015 Nova wasn't alone for long, which was a habit beginning to annoy her. Whenever she thought of being lonely, a wolf would appear. Was this area psychic or something? The dark wolf that approached her didn't look kind or welcoming, but she smiled at her, so Nova returned it with a guarded one of her own. Her lemon and honey eyes studied the female carefully, giving her a dip of her muzzle in greeting. Though she wanted to be blunt and sarcastic, as she usually was, she didn't feel like dealing with the backlash of it today. So instead she simply replied, "Hi." What else could she say? How are you? How's this weather, huh? This wolf didn't seem the type to talk weather. The scent that emanated from her was of a pack, but which one she couldn't say. "Are you from a pack nearby?" RE: someplace else - Bindi - February 24, 2015 The stranger seemed a little on edge around Bindi, but the obsidian female only took it as a compliment. She was greeted by the silver stranger, and was asked about which pack she is from. Bindi had decided to hang around Silvertip for a little longer, before leaving. "Silvertip Mountian" she said proud to be apart of the pack, and looked at the strange female to see if she has heard of it. This strange wolfess didn't smell like any of the surrounding packs, so Bindi thought she could be a possible recruit. The midnight wolfess was no outrider, but if she could personally recrut someone she wouldn't pass up the opportunity. "Do you have pack around here" Bindi asked curious if she this stranger really was from a pack or not. RE: someplace else - Jace Faolan - February 24, 2015 Jace had a great time exploring his new pack's territory, he especially enjoyed the hot springs, they were exactly what he needed in the winter. Maybe he'd have to make a den as close to them as possible. While exploring he had noticed a lake in the distance and decided it may be a good time for a fish and so padded silently through the snow to where he remembered seeing the lake. While on his way he picked up Bindi's scent, "Maybe she's wanting a fish as well. Good! fishing's better with a friend.". Jace continued to follow Bindi's scent through the snow. It was a fairly warm winter day, the snow would soon be giving way to spring grasses and flowers. Jace couldn't wait. Jace noticed Bindi's faint scent grow stronger and knew that he was getting closer. Eventually he spied Bindi around the next hill, her back was to Jace. "Perfect," thought Jace, grinning to himself, "I can sneak up on her and maybe get the jump on her and show off my stealth at the same time.". Jace sunk to his belly and slowly padded the rest of the distance to Bindi, once he was close he jumped from behind the hill, "Hey Bindi! Wanna go fis-". Bindi wasn't alone, there was a skinny white wolf she was talking to. Bindi seemed relaxed, but the other she-wolf seemed anxious. "Hey is there a problem here? Who are you? She bothering you Bindi?", he couldn't smell any other wolf-scent on the newcomer and he could see her ribs, "She must be a loner." RE: someplace else - Supernova - February 25, 2015 Supernova shook her head to answer the woman's question. "Haven't found one yet. What's Silvertip Mountain like?" she turned her gaze toward the mountains in the background, wondering which peak was theirs. She was about to introduce herself when another popped into her vision, interrupting their conversation. Nova's ears swung forward to listen to the male's words. Bindi. That was the woman's name. Nova nodded her slim skull toward him. "I don't think I'm bothering anybody, but nobody does, really. Am I bothering you?" she turned to look at the black female, wondering if that was the case. After a moment of silence, Nova decided to go ahead and introduce herself. "I'm Nova, loner at present." RE: someplace else - Bindi - February 25, 2015 Bindi became interested in the wolfess once she learned she had no pack. So she was definitely a possible recruit, now all the midnight wolfess had to do was persuaded her to join Silvertip. She opened her mouth to speak but was cut off by Jace's voice ringing in her ears. She stood tall and turned around to face the dark male, a bit of annoyance on her face, but she quickly covered it up with a smile. "No your fine" she said to the strange female. Bindi sat down and looked at the spot next to her, inviting Jace to sit next to her. "Nice to meet you Nova, I'm Bindi, and this is Jace" she said using her muzzle to point toward her dark packmate. "About Silvertip, well... It's really amazing, kind wolves, great tasting Caribou, a great alpha" she said and realized just how much she liked being at Silvertip. She gave Nova a smile hoping she would be a little interested in the mountain, Bindi called home. RE: someplace else - Jace Faolan - February 25, 2015 Jace caught the look from Bindi and immediately felt bad, he should have figured out what was going on before he opened his big mouth. Bindi was fully capable of handling herself, it must've been the novelty of being in a new pack and wanting to protect his new family. Jace didn't let any of self-resentment show, but he did come and sit next to Bindi, smiling, "Sorry, can't be too careful you know? What Bindi said is true, I've only been a member of the pack for a couple days but it's been the best! Everyone has been super kind and welcoming.", Jace said. He glanced appreciatively at Bindi, hoping that he had redeemed his earlier blunder. Jace turned back to the strange female, "We are always looking for new wolves to strengthen our pack and you would be welcome to join. I was a lone wolf for almost a year before I wandered into this area and joined the Silvertip pack, there's nothing quite like being in a close-knit pack.". Jace examined the strange female while he sat with Bindi, wondering if she would decide to join. Jace hoped that she would, she would be a great addition to this pack that he already enjoyed so much. RE: someplace else - Supernova - March 05, 2015 Supernova felt like scoffing at these dunderheads. Who felt this passionately about a new pack after only days after living there? Nova certainly wouldn't. You wouldn't be able to tell the truth of the pack, the way the alpha took care of troublemakers, and those types of things. The things that mattered in a pack. It was all well and good that these two liked the silver-tipped mountain, but she wasn't going to join based on that. "Where are you located? Maybe I'll pay the alpha a visit. Let 'em know how well the ambassadors are doing." Maybe there was a hint of sarcasm in her voice, but as these were strangers, they might not catch it. Anyway, it wasn't truly against them at all. She was skeptical of everything these days. RE: someplace else - Bindi - March 06, 2015 The female seemed intrested in the pack, but Bindi was unsure if she was actually going to pay a visit. "We are located on Silvertip Mountian, our alpha is Fitz" she said calmly, and watched Nova's every move. Silvertip was an easy place to like, it had good food to offer, nice caves to explore, the wolves are friendly, or at least some of them are. She looked over at Jace, wondering why he was even out here. The male had just joined Silvertip and he had already set out to explore. It was a bit strange, and concerning to the midnight wolfess, but she pushed the thought to the side for now. "If you do pay Fitz a vist, and come across any wolves at our boarders, tell them you know Bindi and Jace, and they shouldn't be so hostile toward you" she said and hoped that wouldn't scare off the female. RE: someplace else - Supernova - April 09, 2015 Nova could understand their hesitancy to explain where their mountain was; if it were her, she'd covet those details to the grave. She wasn't a forthcoming wolf by any means, especially around strangers. But the winter was upon them and she would have to seek shelter somewhere, whether here, there, or anywhere. "I'll be sure to pay Fitz a visit." Whether or not would do so anytime soon was irrelevant; once her word was given, she would see it through. Nova wasn't the best with timelines, though. "I appreciate your sharing information about your pack." Whatever she thought of what she would do, Nova was appreciative of Bindi's ability to divulge information about her pack. Whatever her other faults, that was not one of them. "This Silvertip Mountain sounds like a wonderful place." RE: someplace else - Bindi - May 17, 2015 Ending thread since Nova went inactive
It seemed Bindi had made herself clear and the girl understood that Silvertip was a great place. She really hoped that Nova would give the mountain a chance and come visit sometime. It seemed their conversation had come to and end and Bindi gave a nod to the pale girl. "Definitely come check the pack out, im sure you'll love it." With that the midnight wolfess made her way to her home, and would make sure to keep a look out for Nkva encase she every came to vist Fitz like she said she would. The dark wolfess looked over her shoulder and used her muzzle to signal Jace to come with her if he wanted. She was slightly curious about what the male had been doing in these parts. Was he following her? |
