you can ring anybody's bell. - Finley - February 22, 2015 She was back. She and Elwood had come together to visit the firebirds earlier that day, and yet there she was - back again. Itching, anxious and nervous like an addict, hunting for another dose of babies. She'd tried to resist, had waited a day or so to come back, but it was impossible. They were tiny people, barely even capable of continuing such big personalities as they already had. Fin was fascinated by them, and thus she was creeping upon them yet again. Finley slipped up the den laying flat on her belly with even her head slipping across the ground. Her eyes found Fox's as the alpha peered at her and gave her a little smirk, a nod, and a patient shake of her had. Fin smiled and wagged her tail as she continued forward until her body was half in and half out, her gaze settled on a rusty brown little body that laid nearest to her - the babe called @Wildfire. RE: you can ring anybody's bell. - Wildfire - February 22, 2015 After a brief foray into the wakeful world, Wildfire returned to a sound slumber. She might have stayed that way throughout the entire evening had the vibration of footfalls and a puff of warm breath not caused her to stir. Butt wiggling indignantly, little Wildfire slowly surfaced from sleep. Her tiny brow knitted as if to ask, What the hell do you want from me? Her mouth cracked open in a yawn, her forelegs stretching out in front of her and her hind legs behind. Her tail arced strangely and she let out a happy little toot. There, she was awake now. Of course, she had to announce this with something a bit louder than a little squeakfart. Wildfire gave a yelp that would burn any ears in the vicinity, then began to whimper. She was suddenly hungry and there were no nipples within immediate reach. Her lip quivered and she opened her mouth to unleash an indignant screech. RE: you can ring anybody's bell. - Finley - February 22, 2015 The tiny, tiny Brest came towards her. And even though it was what she'd wanted, Finley still felt completely horrified as it happened. It was about this point that Stevie realized her tweet said 'Brest' instead of 'beast' and decided she was MORE than happy to let that fly. But anyway. Fin watched in wonder as the tiny potato rolled about, tooting and butt) sputtering as though it were actually, truly a person. Fin watched the little creature in wonder and slunk closer, her nose snuffling wildly as she came nearer to the pup. It had been fortunate that the babe kept quiet, giving fin the confidence to approach ad it was apparent and confidence bolstering that she hadn't broke. the little being yet. But then, the little pickle began to yelp and to yowl. And fin felt absolutely terrified. Fin's gaze flickered to the pup's parents who seemed already to have built an indifferent Wall against their shrillest baby's tantrums. The godmother, however, had built nothing of the sort, and so all anxiety was pitched out the window S she dove forward and began to desperately placate the girl with kisses upon the whole length of her body. "Stop, stop, stoooop," she whimpered as she licked, "everything is sooooooo super great, I swear." RE: you can ring anybody's bell. - Wildfire - February 22, 2015 Instead of being promptly delivered to the milk fountain, something (or someone) began to smother her. It took her so by surprise that Wildfire only gave a little yell, then fell quiet. It actually felt quite good. Her ratlike tail gave a few tentative jerks and she thrust out a forepaw to thump against Finley's muzzle as if to say, I like that! Don't stop! Then Wildfire finally made a noise that wasn't a scream. It was almost like laughter, only more... burbled. (Nearby, a startled Peregrine began looking around the den for the invading turkey, only to realize it was his loudmouth daughter making that strange sound.) It just poured and poured out of her until she completely wet herself. RE: you can ring anybody's bell. - Finley - February 22, 2015 The little Brest was quite verbal in her emotions, though whatever those feelings were, Fin had absolutely no idea. Peregrine lifted his head to shoot a concerned look at his Newton and beta, but quickly laid back down, leaving Finley to go what the fastest uck why. That obviously wad a typo, but ima leave that cause lol. She had no idea whether the shrill squeaks and squawks that came from the babe was happy or super passed, but she continued regardless. Up until she passed herself. At that point Fin stopped and gave he an omg eeeww face. "oh, come on, child," she whined gently before slipping her tongue across the babe's urine-soaked bum, all the while ,marbelling over the fact that this... really wasn't too bad. RE: you can ring anybody's bell. - Wildfire - February 22, 2015 In the near future, the sensation of having her ass wiped with a warm, damp tongue would become second nature to Wildfire. Presently, she made that strange burbling noise again as Finley cleansed her. When it ended, she shrieked. But her throat was getting a little sore, so she fell quiet again. She just lay there for a moment, her black tail giving a twitch every few seconds, waiting for something to happen or perhaps to fall back to sleep. When nothing happened and sleep didn't come (after three seconds), Wildfire slowly rolled onto her side, then her back. She pedaled all four stumpy legs in the air, only to suddenly grow aware of the empty spaces all around her. Wildfire didn't scream this time, though she made a sudden sound of distress. Then she remembered that she was hungry and she began to bawl loudly. RE: you can ring anybody's bell. - Finley - February 22, 2015 Fin pulled back as the child began to squirm about on her side and belly. Bewildered. Was it happy? Was it sad. Was it even aware of its own emotions? Her heart was throbbing worriedly as she watched the child flail, but ever so suddenly, it occurred to her that it was actually a little.. silly. Fin bit her bottom lip as she watched, the humor in it suddenly taking her, in spite of the fact that the kid just kept on wailing like something was gnawing on her intestines. Fin pushed herself upwards a few inches off if the ground so that she could hover ever the tiny girl's body. Amidst the flopping limbs, Fin pushed her nose gently against the little pup's biddy body, snuffling gently into her belly with a tiny smile, wondering what exactly the flaily little potato would make of this new sensation. RE: you can ring anybody's bell. - Wildfire - February 22, 2015 Before Fox or Peregrine could swoop in and silence their whiny offspring with a milky nipple, Finley began snuffling the baby's belly. Wildfire hiccuped herself into silence, then gently flailed her limbs in response to the tickling. It felt good and bad at the same time. If she hadn't already peed herself, she would have done so now. She snorted, tolerating it for a second, then quite forcefully gummed the offending nose and promptly rolled sideways. She had escaped Finley's snout only to face plant into her paw. With a victorious squeal, she nuzzled up to her godmother's dewclaw and began suckling. It was only day one and this was twice now she'd mistaken a toe for a teat. Like before, she didn't immediately realize her mistake and tugged on the toe with all the force a toothless, one-day-old wolf cub could muster. RE: you can ring anybody's bell. - Finley - February 23, 2015 The babe reacted just as Fin had anticipated to her gentle prodding, causing her to giggle softly at the little tickle of tiny limbs bumping and nudging her nose. When she felt the attack on her nose, she lifted her head away with a little snort of laughter. What a weird feeling! It was a little bit like pushing her nose into the soft flesh of a recent kill, only far nibblier. Before the Blackthorn had too much time to make any further comparisons, she felt the most peculiar sensation upon her foreleg as Wildfire snatched her dew claw into her mouth and began to suckle. Instantly a shiver ran down Finley's spine and she froze, eyes widening and her mouth parting slightly. It was... weird. Super weird. Holy good GODS weird. OMG WEIRD WEIRD WEIRD. Fortunately, she was paralyzed from weird, so she didn't actually disturb the pup with her panic. Otherwise she probably would have sent her flying - an action that would have been wholly unappreciated by the new parents. Finley stole a glance at the alphas almost as though she were looking to them to help her escape their tiny daughter's trap, only to see one of the smaller potatoes suckling greedily at Fox's nips while she slept. Somehow seeing that put everything into perspective for her and suddenly she felt calmer. After all, at least the little bugger wasn't trying to feast upon her by latching onto a tit. Now THAT would have been weird. So, Aunt Finley settled back down beside the little creature and merely watched as the child wrestled hungrily with her arm. RE: you can ring anybody's bell. - Wildfire - February 24, 2015 When the expected flood of rich, warm milk did not flow into her mouth, Wildfire sucked all the harder, then let go with an audible pop! She wailed loudly, the sound growing in pitch with each passing second until it reached the decibel level of a low-flying airplane. Fortunately for the adult ears present, a set of jaws (Peregrine's) swooped in and the terrible cry stopped as soon as he dropped Wildfire next to her mother and nudged her in the direction of an actual nipple. She began to suckle greedily, all the while pawing and kneading at the sparsely furred skin around Fox's teat, causing the flesh to flush pink. Oblivious to the effect on her mother's nip, Wildfire gulped down milk until her belly visibly distended, then unlatched and rolled sideways like a miniature blimp, smacking her lips and blowing bubbles. RE: you can ring anybody's bell. - Finley - February 25, 2015 Fin giggled as puppy unlatched herself from her dew claw. It was a very short-lived smile, however, as almost immediately, the tiny beast began to squall shrilly. Fin's eyes grew wider and wider and wider as the wailing got louder and louder. How was it possible such a miniscule little potato could make such a huge sound? In a brief moment of panic, Finley made a very slight move away from the sobbing newborn as though she was about to run for it. Well, not as though she was going to, really.. She was most definitely going to. Peregrine luckily swooped in and scooped up the wailing pup just in time, aligning her with something she could suck on that actually would do her some good. Fin gave him an innocent grin even as he had already turned away and settled back in for some more shut eye, hoping silently that he hadn't noticed she was totally about to ditch the screeching child after she'd broken it. Whatever-her-name-was seemed to be content again, even after she finished feeding. Fin didn't reach for her again though. She contented herself with merely watching as she continued her silly newborn squirming. RE: you can ring anybody's bell. - Wildfire - February 25, 2015 At first, it was only air that passed through her little lips as she blew raspberries, along with a trace amount of foam. Abruptly, warm liquid was spouting from her wee face. As the spit-up gushed from her, Wildfire instinctively righted herself, her pudgy belly flush with the floor. A frothy, yellowish puddle spread in front of her. This time, it was Fox that bent over and took care of her mouthy (in more ways than one!) daughter. After getting rid of the regurgitated milk, Fox ran her tongue over the puppy's face, then over her head, neck, shoulders and back. The warm, damp heaviness of it almost instantaneously lulled Wildfire to sleep. She snored loudly for all of a minute, then lapsed into the slow, steady breaths of deep sleep. With the pup continuing to do little puppy things and the hour getting late, Fin crept quietly out of the mouth of the den with a smile to her two besties who likely didn't even notice, as exhausted as they both were. She paced only a few feet away before beginning to circle and scratch at the snow, digging out a nice little spot to curl up for the night. Likely Elwood would be wondering where she was - she could even picture him lying in her den, waiting for her to arrive. He'd figure it out eventually, she assumed. And in any event, he would most definitely understand her unwillingness to go too far from her pack's new litter. Peregrine and Fox had trusted her with two tasks that she was just now starting to realize the importance of - both beta and godmother. And as such, she fully intended to remain as near as possible over the next couple of weeks in case they needed to call upon her for either duty. |
