Don't eat the blue ones - Titana - February 27, 2015 @Caravaggio The mottled fae had just stolen a meal from a family of foxes, and was feeling quite please. Now in the final days of winter, or so she hoped, the world was slowly turning wet. The sun shone that day, sparking a slight tiredness in the beautiful fae. Wandering, it seemed, was hard work. She lay down in the open close to a border, sunning on a rocky outcrop, eyes closed in the pleasing warmth. She rolled onto her back so that her stomach was displayed to the light, and purred very un-wolfishly. She didn't care who or what saw her, for some reason today she felt light and giddy. Maybe...just maybe it had to do with the strange blue mushroom she had eaten. No, it couldn't be. Really, she didn't care right now. RE: Don't eat the blue ones - JB5 - March 02, 2015 The territory controlled by Amekaze was, in a word, breath-taking. As he struggled along the gradual slopes, Caravaggio found a natural pathway up the mountain; Ame had led him only so far, and now it was up to himself to find his way around. The ridge was covered with dense trees and protruding stacks of igneous stone. He wound his way alongside a massive barren cliffside, and then decided to find a safer area to investigate - falling down the mountainside would not prove his worth as he was eager to do. On his way through the trees, finding that the roots of trees hosted the best footholds for his knobby limbs, Caravaggio roamed through the forest - and came upon a thinning in the foliage. A natural field stretched out from the darkness of the trees, and in that field was the prone silhouette of a stranger. Not wanting to pass up this opportunity to befriend a pack-mate, Caravaggio jumped from the shadows and hopped on over. His tail waved happily at his hocks, and a grin spread itself across his angular face, so that by the time he reached her position he looked downright goofy. And yet, all he said when he was close was, "Hello!" RE: Don't eat the blue ones - Titana - March 02, 2015 "Hello, handsome." was her coy response. She slid into a more comfortable position, giving him a full view of her stomach. "Why don't you come on up? There's room for two" She winked up him, watching him raptly. That was strange. His whole pelt was a deep shade or purple. Now it was blue. How mesmerizing. she wagged her tail slowly, and had the sudden feeling that she could fly. How simply wonderful! RE: Don't eat the blue ones - JB5 - March 02, 2015 Her coy response was received without batting an eye, although Caravaggio's tail wagged a little bit more exuberantly. He approached her without much hesitation and then - plop! - was on his back, his forehead and ears aligned with her own, so that they made a little wolf-to-wolf train. Perhaps it was a strange way to act around a stranger; the way Caravaggio saw it, she was a pack-mate, and a friendly one. Unless she gave him a reason to be more cautious (or if he came to his senses and realized that she was actually a lone wolf), it was always in his nature to be a bit ridiculous. "What are we looking at?" He chortled after a moment, his pale eyes looking up at the bare sky above. |
