they say a kitchen time saves nine - Twist - March 01, 2015 for @Redwood ! Slight pp of her finding Redwood. If you want me to change it, just let me know.
After finding the entrance to the tunnels, curiosity had gotten the best of the insane girl. She'd entered today, gone deeper, deeper. Now she was lost in the web, but not unhappy. This was the perfect place to raise her father from the dead, no matter what that grey male said about no magic. He wasn't her Lord of Darkness anyway. Two men had claimed the name, but it had been a test from the Great One himself in Twist's mind. She now knew who was lying and who told the truth. (Though little did she know neither of them were her "Dark Lord".) The black one with silver eyes was her king, not the grey. Her thoughts swerving fast away from that, her lightning yellow eyes widened with a crazed light as she turned a corner. There, lying in the chamber, was a wolf. She crept closer to it before grinning insanely like the cheshire cat, then tapping him on the tail gently with a single black claw. RE: they say a kitchen time saves nine - Redwood - March 02, 2015 The boy was in the corner, murmuring and cursing himself out. His claws dug in the ground and growled in agony as his head started pounding. The dark was making his head pound and driving him insane. All he wanted to do was escape. He hadn't eaten, or drank anything. He felt a sudden prod on his tail. He swerved around, a nasty snarl on his face, "Don't touch me!" He whimpered and put a paw on his injured head. The impact from Cresendo had given him the most awful headache, and it made his vision blurry and he had been screaming at himself. He looked up at the she wolf with cold eyes. She had a crazed grin on her face. "Can't y-you mutts take hint? Leave Red alone!!" This wasn't how he usually talked. His head made his words spill out in babbled, jibberish words that made no sense. He stood up and waddled into another corner, sat down and glared at the she-wolf. "Away! Away!" he growled, "Leave! Wood doesn't want to be poked or messed with!" His head pounded and his heart raced. He was losing sanity in this confined space. "Too concealed. To tiny. To dark!" His fur prickled and he went into a pose like a puppy waiting to pounce on a beetle. "Must escape! Escape!" RE: they say a kitchen time saves nine - Twist - March 02, 2015 Twist tilted her head. Her eyes were a mixture of insanity and confusion. First in that this male- Wood, apparently- talked like her. The second was that he said he needed to escape, which made her think he wasn't from Black Feathered. Without cares to his wishes, she sniffed at his tail-tip. He wasn't from Black Feathered Wood. She wondered if he was a prisoner. Or sacrifice. Or ingredient. That couldn't be great. So she smiled, trying to be friendly. She backed up a pace from him, careful not to touch him. Calm. This is Twist. Male is Wood, yes? Why are you here not us? Prisoner? She asked him with a tilt of her head. Poor fellow. Too bad. Though if he was of little value he could be useful for an ingredient. She needed a wolf skull to raise her father from the dead.... RE: they say a kitchen time saves nine - Redwood - March 02, 2015 He gave a cold laugh and said slowly, "My name not Wood. It's Red," he coughed before finishing, "Wood..." He cringed and bit down on his lip, for the pain was growing as he talked. "I am not c-captive here. My head captive." His legs splayed uncontrollably. They had been doing that. He was angry with Cresendo and Morgana. How dare they? Did they really think he was just going to give up on murdering them? He had told them sternly that night what he would do. And he was going to do it. It was about time to have a little fun. His father seemed to be controlling his body with pure hatred. He wobbled up onto his feet to face the girl who she had introduced at Twist. He nearly spat in her ear as he yelled, "Do NOT tell me to c-calm! I have done nothing wrong for this torture! I have all right for blood to be spilled from the 'dark mongrels'. He's very, very lucky that he had companion with him! Tell your Cresendo to watch the back, cause' I'm coming back. To spill the blood from his body! He stood taller, though his legs were shaking with pain, "Do NOT think of me as a helpless pup! I am built to kill!" His blood was boiling and his eyes were filled in rage. Every word was true. He was going to come back to get vengeance, and at that time he will be ready. RE: they say a kitchen time saves nine - Twist - March 02, 2015 She didn't understand how Red... Wood's head was captive. Just his head? When Redwood began yelling, Twist grinned and shook her head with a quiet chuckle. Redwood's ranting purposeless, Twist knows not a Crescendo. Twist know, how ever, Morgana, Meldresi, Dark Lord, and Grey Man.She said. She didn't extend on any. Little did she know that the one she thought was the Lord of Darkness in flesh was actually Crescendo. At his next words she tilted her head, slightly confused again. Twist not reason seeing Redwood as pup if Redwood adult. Yes?She pointed out to him. He was not small and she did not think he was a child. If he was built for killing he should've been among these wolves. RE: they say a kitchen time saves nine - Redwood - March 02, 2015 He grunted in frustration. She was right, there would be no need for talking to her if she didn't know who he was. He was more surprised on how she hadn't insulted him, or beaten him for his actions. He started to calm down and lay back down on the ground. "You, Twist, are not like those others. Why? Why didn't you 'punish' Redwood? The others have would." He shook his head in confusion. Have would? Was he flipping his words around again? He started to chew on his tail in hunger. He had to do this so he would keep his mind off of food, for this Pack would probably never feed him anytime soon. He was so confused and afraid. "Why did they not kill Red-wo when they had chance? I expect them to do more than deliver a headache. But I don't fuss. I'm actually grateful for them to spare him. But I thought they would gut Red, like C-crescend said." RE: they say a kitchen time saves nine - Twist - March 02, 2015 Twist shrugged. She hadn't noticed she wasn't like the others. Twist suppose since Redwood done no thing to Twist, Twist no hurt. No matter, Twist does no enjoyment tortures any way. Twist enjoy magic, but no enough ingredient to spells currently. She told him. Her lightning eyes glanced around the chamber before turning back to him. He spoke of what he'd thought they would do. Twist knows not these answers. Gutting- disgust. Likely they humiliate and torture Redwood before killing him. Is there anything he needed at this moments? She asked him, as if she hadn't just said his fate was humiliation, torture, and finally, death. Truly she hoped better for him, perhaps in truth he was a nicer wolf. RE: they say a kitchen time saves nine - Redwood - March 02, 2015 His head spun in pain and confusion. How did she know magic? As a pup, he was told that only the Lord Wolves had powers such as magic. Was she some kind of descendant? He shook his head in disgust and anger. What kind of wolf would take pride in humiliating a wolf for their own entertainment? What kind of honor did that have? He looked up at Twist with a glint in his eye as she asked if he needed anything. "Food. I must have food." He had gotten a bit skinnier and weak from hunger. He was even worse when it came to water. He had eaten anything that was in the puny hole: Dirt, rocks, bugs. He had licked the moistened walls for any sort of water. When push comes to shove, he would do anything to survive. He needed to get out of here. It was lonely, dark, and horrifying to be in such a concealed place for days. He was aware that there was tunnels leading in different directions, but his vision and smelling senses had completely malfunctioned so he didn't bother to see where they led. Probably straight to hell... he thought sadly. RE: they say a kitchen time saves nine - Twist - March 07, 2015 Twist smiled a little. food Twist gets. Now? Twist seems little lost in tunnel of own land. Trys to find exiting. She said with a sheepish grin. She was a little embarrased that she was lost in her own territory, even though it was underground. Surely the others knew of these caves and how to get out. There were probably others down here. She thought about howling for one. If he was desperate for food, she would go get it for him. But she would need a guide out. But Twist did not howl, not yet. If he sounded desperate in his response, however, she would let her howl echo through the tunnels and call upon whatever packmate may answer. RE: they say a kitchen time saves nine - Redwood - March 10, 2015 He let his head rest in disappointment. There was no way he would get a proper way. Maybe he should just starve to death now. But he needed to keep pushing forward. So he could get out of this brutal place. It made him a bit confused that the she wolf didn't know the way around her own turf. Maybe she was just new. "It is ok," he sighed, "Red will live." It might be a lie. He just wanted to close his eyes and fall into an everlasting sleep. But he couldn't help but wanting to have fresh air. A smell other than dirt. He had gotten so used to that smell that he could barley smell anything else. His senses had abandoned him. |
