young sick bacchus - JB5 - March 02, 2015 Set in the internal territory of "Echo Valley"; for @Vienna! Hopefully using this for Naturalist.
He wandered for hours on end, eager to devour the land and set his sights upon the mountains many mysteries. All of the hidden beauties that the terrain held for him. It was tiring work for the boy of the lowlands, and he found on more than one occasion that the air tasted thin; he was light-headed and dizzy by the time he reached the top ridge of the falls. With a wheeze, Caravaggio plopped himself down in order to catch his breath, and gazed dreamily out across the valley's immense gap. It was astonishing how different this place was from his natal pack; all rolling hills, rocks, and dangerous peaks. But hidden within all of that danger was a certain.. majesty, a quality which made the boy's heart feel absolutely elated. RE: young sick bacchus - Vienna IA - March 06, 2015 Vienna was sticking around now, not quite ready to set off into the unknown again. She was enjoying the sensation of being home far too much, and besides, Ivev had left her with enough to keep her for a while. The trick was memorization. Today she was heading up to the spot she had first met Ferdie one on one, what seemed like ages ago. They'd sung together in that echoing valley, and Vienna realized how long it had been since she'd sung period. It wouldn't be on the agenda now, since the noise could disturb the snow on the slopes, regretfully. She really didn't have a goal in mind in coming here. Being truthful, she was merely enjoying the day, and the spot had a great vantage point. It seemed another had stumbled upon that same idea, though, for when she arrived she was not alone. The other was a stranger to her, a packmate but obviously fairly new. Or perhaps he'd arrived while she'd been gone. Sometimes she forgot how long her trip had taken. "Hey." It was kept moderate in tone, though her tail waved to show her excitement in a new aquaintance. "Beautiful, isn't it?" |
