Give your all - Nishu Inte - March 20, 2015 {Going back in time for an important event! It's winter and a clear night sky! @Rain } Traveling to the a hunting area he discovered himself among the wooded valley, Nishu thought about what has happend so far with Rain. The begining of the night started with a song sung with heart, Nishu had called Rain the goddess of the moon as a compliment. After talking about what they believed about the moon they had a friendly spar with each other in honor of the knights and moon. A bet was set where the goal was to bring down the other to score a point. There was a twist though, the winner had to go hunt something for both of them to eat. Nishu had already score a point before the bet was made and he was the one that made it. But the spar was halted when he discovered Rain was hungry. He offered to stop for a hunt and then they could continue their spar at a later time. Now the time has come, Nishu was leading the way and he managed not to lose his way this time. He stopped once he picked up a scent of a boar. A worthy opponent for a hunt under the full moon. The hunt was about to begin but before that he turned to look behind him and would grin once Rain was in his sights. "Prepare yourself Rain, We will have a worthy hunt here." He said with confidence, in truth he eagered to show off his hunting abilities. One side was to show how strong Knights were but there was also a small side that wanted to impress Rain. In any case, he has to give it his all! RE: Give your all - Rain - March 25, 2015 Nishu grins at Rain catches up with him while saying that they will have a worthy hunt. She agrees. A wild boar is more dangerous than the deer and rabbits that she is used to hunting. It will be exciting to try to take down a boar. "I'll follow. Once it's in our sights one of us should circle behind it while the other cuts off any attempts of escape." She doesn't care who did what as long as they are able to bring the beast down. With a boar as their prey, they need to be watchful. She can imagine a horn managing to pierce one of them and such a wound often leads to death. With no healer in the pack at the moment, there is no chance of pulling through. "If you can think of a better hunting strategy then please feel free to speak up. I don't want either of us ending up severly wounded." Nishu, she knows, is an excellent fighter so he may know a better way to bring down the boar. RE: Give your all - Nishu Inte - March 26, 2015 It was time to be a bit sneaky even if that wasn't Nishu's strong point. Night hunts were more focused on hearing and smelling than on using sight. Each sense will have it's importances at each stage, as long as they are used correctly there shouldn't be a problem. The boar was already close by but Nishu didn't quite pin point it's current location. Still he had his guesses, If the boar was aware that it was being hunted it would likely try to hide first before acting. Those creatures were warriors in way, they understand that fighting back is one way to survive in the wild. The phrase 'we must fight, to get away' rang in his head. It reminded him of the cliff battle he had with those sea wolves. Atleast this time, Rain and Nishu should be on the wining side. Nishu was starting to get serious as he thought about the strategies the boars used as will as the tactic to take them down. He had to guess that Rain may not be used to hunting a boar. So before getting closer to the target that's a few dozen meters away he whispered to Rain, giving her his strategy. "The problem with boars is that they fight back before trying to run. One on one fight with them usually leaves both members injured. Know that they can only focus on one target at a time. Since we are two, One can attack it from behind while the other evades it's tusks. It's likely that we will have to rotate roles but as long as we surround him he can only attack one of us. So focus on dodging when it's eyes are on you, attack when it's not paying attention. Understand?" This was the best way to take on a boar with a low risk of getting injured. But the risk of injuries are much higher at the start than any other point of the hunt. Boars do ambush, Nishu would rather be the one to seek it out and surround it while Rain holds this side. The question that was on his mind was, is Rain ready for this? It would be his fault if she wasn't. RE: Give your all - Rain - April 08, 2015 Rain nods at Nishu's instructions, letting him know that she understands. "So who will start from behind and who will start from the front?" She questions him. Feeling that she could avoid the creatures tusks, Rain would much rather be in front than behind. Nishu is a strong opponent who can do a lot more damage to the bore than she can, but she will let him make the decisions here. Either way, if they will be switching roles every so often, then it didn't matter too much who started where. Rain flicks an ear with a tilt of her head while wondering how long it will take them to bring the boar down and if either one of them will end up getting hurt. She doesn't worry too much about Nishu getting injured because she trust his strength, probably more than she should. But there is still some worry for him. A boar is a dangerous prey after all. RE: Give your all - Nishu Inte - April 08, 2015 "The boar will decide that." He said in reply of Rain's question. Now was the time to act before their prey manages to catch on to them. "Alright, it should be up ahead. Stay here until it's in sight." and with that said he began to move quickly forward. Shortly after the boar jumped out of it's cover coming towards Nishu's right. Nishu was on his guard and aware that boars always favored attacking in defense so he jumped away to the left and turned to face his prey. There was not a second wasted, the boar continued to charge at him forcing Nishu to keep steping back unless he wanted to get struck by the creature's tusk. It was clear the boar was going all in which was perfect and exactly what Nishu wanted. With the boar distracted Rain will be able to attack it from behind without much risk of injuries. Every half second counted, Nishu was ambushed and was given very little time to think. Thanks to having everything planned out he didn't need to think. There was still a limit on how much he could dodge. His zig zaging movements kept him able to avoid but he wasn't able to see what was behind him. He was counting on Rain to attack before something gets in the way of his evasion and then once the boar was injuried it would only make things easier. RE: Give your all - Rain - April 14, 2015 Nishu began to move quickly forward. Rain's eyes swiveled between him and the boar, not wanting to miss a thing. The boar came right towards nishu who jumped away to the let and turned to face their prey. Rain had watched the boar continue to charge after Nishu and force him back. With the boar distracted, she charged at it from the side. Lunging forward, she rammed into the boar with the full weight of her body, hoping to put it off balance or tumble it over. The boar stumbled to the side, but kept on it's hooves. Rain latched on with her teeth, holding on tightly as the thing bucked and turned in an attempt to dislodge her. Now she had it's attention. She will have to hold on until Nishu did something to gain it's attention back or bring it down. She can feel her teeth begin to lose their grip as the boar thrashed about, squealing in high pitched tones. Nishu will have to do something quick before she is thrown from the beast. All this danger has her fairly excited though. She is enjoying the blood rushing through her veins and the slight fear of being injured. She is glad that they had decided to go hunting. RE: Give your all - Nishu Inte - April 14, 2015 The boar quickly realised that Nishu wasn't alone when Rain made her move. So far so good, the boar wasn't clever but it was strong. It wouldn't be easy for one lone wolf to push it down but Nishu found it funny that Rain tried. It made him grin. But it wasn't time to sit and watch. The boar was trying to escape Rains grip wildly which gave Nishu the perfect chance to strike. Right, He charged at the boar's side and lunged at it with both his front paws aiming the push it roughly down on the ground. Thanks to Rain's efforts the boar wasn't ready to take on such force and was knocked down. Nishu kept his paws pressed against it pinning it down with his weight. All there was to do was take it's life before it wiggles away. "We got it! Now keep it down!" He ordered as he dived his teeth into it's neck. But a boar's neck was thick, It would take a couple of seconds of struggling before ending it. Even for Nishu it was a challenge to keep it there while trying to kill it. The hard part was done though, the risk of getting injured was lower. With Rain's help it should be over soon and then they could enjoy some strong boar meat as a reward for their effort. RE: Give your all - Rain - April 22, 2015 Nishu knocks down the boar, Rain still holding on. He yells at her to keep it down. She watches as he dives his teeth into its neck. She expected it to die instantly with such a blow, but the damn thing kept kicking. Rain growls, letting go of the boar to place her teeth in a spot behind its neck. She bites down hard while noticing blood starting to pool beneath the large animal. Her stomach, knowing that the kill is close at hand, growls loudly. She can't wait to feast on such a meaty creature. She can feel the boar's struggles start to ebb as Nishu and her continue to hold it down. Soon the thing stops moving all together, but she is hesitant to let it go. Her eyes shift to Nishu, waiting for him to confirm that the thing is dead. RE: Give your all - Nishu Inte - April 23, 2015 Nishu kept his grip on the boar's neck a few seconds after the it stopped moving. Nishu would admit this boar was strong but against him and Rain together it's chances of escape fell greatly. Thanks to the teamwork there was no injury which made the hunt a great success. The moon was still shining brightly this night and it should after all that's happend. He released the dead boar and grinned at Rain. "When working in pairs we are as strong as three wolves going solo. They teach you that early in training so you don't go off and do thing alone." He said as he sat back and waited for Rain to eat. In his mind it was normal for the leader to eat first and he considered Rain as the leader since he is her Knight. After all that exercise he too was getting a bit hungry. A little mid night snack wouldn't hurt. This night was sure to be something he would never forget. In a way it was a bit magical. There was something at this that made it feel great. Nishu was happy but he wasn't quite sure why. He decided to just enjoy things without really thinking on it. It was more important to focus on Rain. RE: Give your all - Rain - April 24, 2015 Nishu releases the boar and Rain follows. He tells her that they teach Knights not to go off alone. She smiles at warmly at him and wonders if he misses his past. She watches him sit back and takes that as the go ahead to dig in. With a large bite to the boars stomach, she pulls off a chunk of it's thick fur, trying to reach the meat underneath. Flinging aside part of the skin, she bites into the meat. The flavor is incredible. She moves aside to give Nishu some room and continues to gorge on the animal. Eventually she drags out its entrails and chews on them. It has been a great ending to their night. She looks forward to celebrating another full moon with Nishu. RE: Give your all - Nishu Inte - April 25, 2015 ( >->'' .. You didn't see anything :P right?) Nishu noticed that Rain was making room for him to join in. He hesitated on joining in, he would have prefered just waiting for her to finish which was one of the rules that was automatic. Since today was a special a day he decided that it was ok. He approached carefully and calmly then once he got to take a bite his hesitation disappeared and proceeded to eat his fill of the boar. Aftering eating there was always that feeling of being tired that comes next. "Shall I escort to your den? It would be best to rest now. We can continue our spar on a later date." He said once they were finished. No matter how strong you were it was important to have some sleep or that strength will be meaningless. Nishu had learned that the hard way. RE: Give your all - Rain - April 25, 2015 I have no clue what you are talking about :D
As she ate her fill and sat back Nishu asks if she wishes for an escort - saying that they should rest. She yawns as he points that out, and then turns and nuzzles into his neck fur. "How about you just say OUR den. Technically all of the pack sleeps in there." She smiles and looks up at him, giving him a lick across his nose. "With how long you have been in the pack, you are basically a member of the Sunspire." Rain also would like to have his warmth by her side, but she doesn't mention that part. She will be sad if he declines, but she will also understand why. She holds her breath waiting for his reply. Her heart picks up in speed and she hides her face under his muzzle. RE: Give your all - Nishu Inte - April 25, 2015 Rain gave an unexpected response. It was happening more often now but Nishu wasn't used to it yet. He had always done things they way he was told to do. Believeing there was only one right way to do things. These situations were different. Normally it should be escort or no escort, the only thing he had expected. Rain wasn't treating him like a servant like he is meant to be. Even if he is considered as a high ranked kind of servant he still follows the strict rules of master/servant. This isn't something a Knight was suppose to do with the master but it's the master who was making the move, what was he suppose to do? Nothing came to mind, there was no guide lines, no experience. He froze in place for a moment after she licked his nose. He didn't understand what it meant but Rain was so close, the warmth he felt was great. He felt the feeling of being cared for. This gave him no reason to want to push her away but instead keep her near. He wanted to share that feeling and show that he cared for her too. He turned his head slowly towards her and slightly pushed against her but stopped after a second and turned his head to look away. Nishu was afraid of what could happen, He didn't want to look bad as a Knight but this was something he didn't know how to deal with. He didn't want to take the chance to upset Rain. "I'm not a true member, My loyalty is to you only until my task is completed. I'm already grateful that I'm allow to stay within the territory. Allowing me to sleep in the same area as you do would be too much. I don't want to take advantage of the pack I am not truely part of. All I've done was for you because I am your Knight." He said calmly. Still Being at her side while she sleeps would be a good way to protect her. Due to the servant/master rules he follows he never dared tried but that didn't mean he said no. RE: Give your all - Rain - April 26, 2015 He pushed his head against her slightly before turning away. Rain believed that this was a sign that she had perhaps stepped over her bounds. Then, as she had expected, Nishu basically declined her offer. Well, she had another choice for him. "Take me to your den," she tells him. "I would rather stay with a wolf that I am close to than to a pack who I hardly know." Would he decline this as well? She hopes not. Her gaze is almost pleading as she watches for his reaction. Almost heart achingly she wants to stay with him. It had been a special night for them, she wants to end it with him as well. She will admit that she is falling for him now. She can't deny the need to be with him, to fell him next to her. But did he feel the same? She can't be for sure, and the fact that he had turned away from her put her that much farther from believing that he may. It makes her sad, but she will not give up on there being a possibility that he could have feelings for her too. RE: Give your all - Nishu Inte - April 27, 2015 Nishu remained silent for a moment. Take her to his den? That was a request that he never expected. Compared to the choice before which went against rules he follows this in fact was a different situation. He wasn't sure what applied here. Getting very close to Rain was enjoyable, it was a nice place to be but it was the uncertainty that was holding him back. He didn't know if it was right or wrong, He wanted to be close but that was based on feelings he has for her. What came first was duty and his service he couldn't let himself make decision based on what he felt and wanted. But this was a special night either way, He wouldn't ask for more so if Rain wanted to be with him then it could be alright. Taking her to his den will be fine but then where would he sleep? It sounded more like she just wanted to be with him so that meant he would have to sleep in the same space. It's not exactly something a Knight should do but if she so desires it then why would he deny her? "Alright." He said hesitantly the moment he turn his head to see her eyes that sparkled in the moonlight. "Normally as a Knight this isn't really allowed but there has been arguements about it. I.. don't mind but I don't know if it's right or ok. Do you really prefer to stay alone with me than to be with your pack?" He asked quietly. Nishu did just want a clear yes or no answer for him. He didn't like being unsure of what to do. But if Rain was sure then so be it. There was no harm in letting her stay with him, right? Atleast he could easily keep her safe. RE: Give your all - Rain - May 01, 2015 Rain tilts her head at the grey male. "Not allowed?" She inquires. "I could just order you to stay with me. You cannot refuse an order even if it goes against your laws, correct?" She didn't want to order him to do anything. She just wanted to bring up a valid point. "But I would rather be happy by your side than with my pack," she adds quietly. He may be hesitating because of his Knightly laws, but they were bound with more than just a contract. Did he realize that though? "I may be loyal to a fault, but I do not know my pack as well as I should. I would do everything for them, though I am close to none of them." Well, that would be her fault because of how much she enjoys traveling. "You on the other hand are always by my side, Nishu. Please allow me to spend at least this night with you." She can imagine how bad she must look right now with the blood of their prey stained on her fur. It bothers her slightly, but he doesn't seem to mind. Glancing him over, she notices that he looks the same, but then something on him catches her eye and she grins. "Nishu," she says, "There's a bit of prey hanging from your ear." She reaches up, gently grasping the stringy piece of meat and swallowing it with a soft laugh. "Come on, lead me to your den. " She stands wondering which way his den would be. She was going to just take off to his den, but had no idea where it was. RE: Give your all - Nishu Inte - May 01, 2015 'What? how did that get there?' He wondered. He let her take the piece of meat and then watched her want to start moving. He chuckled before getting up but he wanted to clear a few things before moving. "Actually I could refuse to follow orders if it goes against our laws." He said clearly. But after Rain continued to request and insist he started to forget why he was hesitating. "I won't refuse you though, I don't see why I would at this point." There was a clear reason why he would have refused but that reason vanished for the time being. He started to walk towards the direction that would take both of them to his den. "I'll warn you that my den isn't large and is meant to be temporary so I didn't work hard on it. There might not be enough open room for both of us in there. I'll make more room if necessary." Nishu had finally made up his mind. He just couldn't refuse a wolf like Rain so easily. There were just too many things that said it was ok that the reason that was holding him back just wasn't enough. Besides whatever he felt for her was new and unknown. He wanted try to understand what it was but was also cautious about it. There was no going back on his decision anyway. He's just going to have to let his feelings be the way they are and just enjoy them. He already understood that these feelings come from being with Rain but were they dangerous? He guessed that he would find out soon enough. RE: Give your all - Rain - May 05, 2015 Rain tucks away the bit of information that Nishu gives her about refusing orders that go against laws. Then he tells her that he can't refuse her which increases her mood. She smiles warmly at him, tail wagging. She follows as he begins to walk forward. He tells her that his den isn't very large and that there might not be enough room for them both. She grins. "Well, I guess we'll just have to make room." She could always just lay on him too. That would work. Flicking an ear she adds, "I wouldn't want to put you out of your den. Temporary or not." It wouldn't do to force a wolf out of it's home. That wasn't her intentions with Nishu. She just wanted to share the rest of the night with him. If they both really couldn't fit in his den then she may as well head home, but she didn't want to do that. Thinking back, she recalls that a wolf from Blackfeather woods had once made a shelter for her. Maybe she could do that here. Make some sort of temporary add-on to Nishu's den. Well, they would just have to figure it out once they got there. RE: Give your all - Nishu Inte - May 06, 2015 He nodded and continued to lead her to his den. It was a bit of walk but the moon was still high. They reached his den without problem. It was quite simple, He had dug a hole under the roots of a tree. The location wasn't too far from the dens of the other wolves. Nishu took this spot because the hole was already half made for him, likely due to a smaller animal who lived here. "We're here." Before letting Rain in he went in to check if nothing happend to be hiding. He crawled through the entrance and pushed pass a few roots. Very shortly he reached the end. There was no room to stand but if he laid down there was plently of leg room to stretch to the side. The problem Nishu was thinking of was the space Rain would take. He counted on her sleeping on the opposite side of him but then there wouldn't be any leg room for any of them to stretch to. Well if he was her wall then she could have enough room. The problem there would be that she'll block his only way out if there was a problem. But there was no way he could asked her rest on him. It was up to her to decide what she wanted to do with this limited room. The den was clear. He laid there for a moment, testing the space. After analyzing he decided that it would be best to make more room. The thought was stopped as he wondered what he was actually doing. He should have let Rain come in and see for herself. So he aimmed to crawl out of the den. RE: Give your all - Rain - May 07, 2015 It really wasn't much of a den and Rain only hopes that they are able to both fit. She follows as Nishu crawls into the den, finding that there is barely enough room for them both but they could make this work. "So how do we do this?" She questions as she reaches him. There would be enough room if she was right up against him. Flicking an ear, Rain tests the idea by wiggling around till her side was resting against his and laying her head on her front paws. She breathes in his scent, taking comfort in his closeness, but feels a bit of awkwardness. Was this something that she shouldn't do? She didn't want to offend him, or make him feel uncomfortable. "There really isn't much room," she apologizes with a small smile. "I hope this is all right." She lifts her head from her paws to lay it over his back, trying to get more comfortable. When that didn't feel right she tucked her face under his chin, resting it on his paws. RE: Give your all - Nishu Inte - May 07, 2015 Before Nishu could even say or do anything Rain had already made her way in. It got crowded very quickly and there was no way he could move away. Feeling a bit trapped his heart began to beat a little faster. For the first time he sounded nervous "Hey wait!..." he was rushed but it was up to her to decide what she wanted. She wanted to come here so he should respect her wishes. He wasn't sure how he had to be but he couldn't really move with Rain now laying on him. After a moment, it wasn't that bad. It was actually quite warm and comfortable. "... It's alright. To be honest this is quite new to me.." To be used as a pillow was something he never imagined or was prepared for. What allowed him to relax a bit was the fact no one could see them here. That suited Nishu since he wasn't sure if it was alright or maybe it was ok but he didn't want to take the risk. Nishu's feelings allowed him to accept Rain to be so close. He enjoyed it but he was suppose to think of what would be good for her. He had to make sure she was comfortable. "Make yourself comfortable if you wish. I'll try not to move." He said returning to his calm tone. The situation was strange, how come he was never trained for this? He really wanted to know what he had to do here and then later. RE: Give your all - Rain - May 20, 2015 Rain had already drifted to sleep when Nishu told her to make herself comfortable. He was a comfy wolf. A gentle smile tugged at her lips as she slept. Her dreams swirled around something that she had never thought of before since her last mate had left her. Pups. A grey little male colored liked Nishu, and a little silver image of herself. She nosed the little male and he pounced on her in reply. He would be a fighter like his father. The little female scolded her brother, making her laugh. She looked up to Nishu with a warm smile. This was the future she wanted? One that involved a happy full family. Worries of Nishu rejecting such a future escaped her dream. It was peaceful and perfect. RE: Give your all - Nishu Inte - June 04, 2015 At this point it didn't matter anymore. There was no getting out of this. Being unprepared did bother him but he figured maybe he should just adapt to this situation. The bonus was that it wasn't uncomfortable, it was better than being alone during winter. If a problem appeared he wouldn't be able to do anything. She was blocking the exit which was one major thing he didn't want. Still what were the chances of something really happening? Maybe just this night he could take the risk. He attempted to put his mind at ease. He wasn't 100% comfortable but he could easily deal with that. At the very least he was with Rain. This was the first time she sleeps with him meaning he and her where at equal level. It didn't seem like a Knight/master thing. Basically he wasn't a Knight here. All he had to do was quit thinking and rest, That's all. Which he did and shortly fell asleep. Then he dreamed of something he wouldn't remember later but it was rather interesting, If only he would be able to recall it. |
