Wandering into paths of trees.. - Loreley - March 26, 2015 Loreley wandered quietly through the territory of the pack that had so happily accepted her. She hadn't yet met any of her pack mates and the excitement was getting to her. Her body trembled and her tail wagged low as she took in her surroundings. The tree above her whispered in the breeze and birds chipped above her head. Her mind else where, she neglected to notice a branch arching from the ground. This of course resulted in her tripping head first into the nearest tree. Loreley hit it hard enough to cause leaves fall around her. She whined at the pain that was racing through her head. 'Not again she thought' but laughed it off. This growing habit of walking into things often had her wondering if she would end up permanently damaged, if she wasn't already. With the pain slowly subsiding, she sat and closed her eyes. The breeze ruffling her fur and she sighed content with her surroundings. RE: Wandering into paths of trees.. - Kaname - March 28, 2015 Kaname strode confidently through Ouroboros Spine, reveling in the brightness of the world around him. Greenery has taken over the bleakness of the valley, and birdsong never failed to wake him up in the morn. Life ran through the woods and the pack gorged themselves on the new creatures. Life was good, and was about to become better when his pups were born. He was certain they would come. Very certain. He paused in his stroll when a thump of something solid hitting another solid object reached his ears. It sounded like...someone hit their head. He walked towards the sound, inquisitive, and found his target. A female stood there, her eyes closed. "Are you alright there?" RE: Wandering into paths of trees.. - Loreley - March 29, 2015 Ears sprung forward and her eyes flew open. Loreley glanced around for who had spoke and her eyes quickly settled on them. Her tail wagged at the newcomer. "Oh, I'm fine! Yep all good." she answered shaking the last of the ache from her skull. Her whole body suddenly became still as she took in the sight of the other wolf. Her stare blank. Though some would find this unsettling, she meant no harm by it. It had been a long time since someone had shown any concern for her, it gave her a pleasant feeling. She had also forgotten how rude it was to stare at others. Maybe it had been knocked from her memory in another 'tree incident?' Like a bolt of lightning she jumped out of her stillness and bonded over to the newcomer, bouncing happily on her paws like some would see a horse prance. She stopped with a smile, maybe a little too much in the wolfs personal space. She might have forgotten that was rude too. RE: Wandering into paths of trees.. - Kaname - April 14, 2015 @Loreley Pardon me for the lateness.
He blinked quizzically at the female as she blinked and then became still. His metaphorical and theoretical eyebrow raised as the stare lingered for more than was comfortable to the dark male. Was she in love with him all of a sudden? He was not very comfortable with that, or her stare. When she broke the frozen stillness and bounded towards him, he jolted slightly. It took him off guard. Her being so close to him took him by surprise too. No one had been this close to him since Cara in the morning. It made him feel...awkward. "Can I help you?" He said with uneasiness in his tone. RE: Wandering into paths of trees.. - Loreley - April 15, 2015 @Kaname no worries :) .
Back to staring, Loreley took in the small details for the new comers face. With an concerned look she dipped into deep thought. 'This male seemed a little jumpy, maybe her was scared of her? or maybe he had seen something she had not?' Loreley glanced around them at the thought. 'Not a thing in sight.' Returning her gaze at the others question, a confused frown crossed her face. "Help me with what?" Had she asked for help? Oh no, what if she had and then forgotten she had? Suddenly a panic grew in her, making her fidget where she stood while she tried to remember she wasn't even sure she said. |
