Cumbersome times - FitzDutiful - April 03, 2015 This charade was getting tiresome now. FitzDutiful had been deliberately avoiding Bindi and he was sick of it. Unless he was seeking her out for official pack duty tasks he was avoiding going anywhere near her scent. He didn't dare go back to his den with even the slightest smell of Bindi upon him in case Raissa accused him of cheating and waltzed off again. Today, he had excused himself from her presence to go hunting and find them all some food. Time said that there was two weeks to go until the pups would arrive. Raissa had explained that April 14th was likely the earliest they would arrive and yet he was sure he would go crazy before then. He was doing very well with the entire situation. He rarely thought about the situation that was occurring - most of the time he spoke the truth about what he wished for and what he wanted. If he disagreed with the statement he didn't speak, just smiling at her, feeling the love for the children that she carried as he did so. This was for them and it was worth it. And so he trekked across the mountainside, looking for anything that would feed him and his family. RE: Cumbersome times - Bindi - April 07, 2015 Bindi had honestly not noticed how Fitz had been avoiding her. She was to busy hunting, patrolling the boarders, and searching for Minxy. When she came across the pale alpha's scent it was only then had she realized it had been awhile since their last talk. Naturally the midnight wolfess started to track down Fitz, courious as to what he had been doing these past few days. When the pale male finally came into view Bindi slowed her pace to a casual walk, and offered Fitz a smile. "Hey Fitz, how have you been" she asked as it was clear to Bindi he had been busy doing something these past few days. Personally the obsidian female had been doing really well. Her wounds have all turned into scars and fur was starting to cover the hideous markings. Bindi was slowly getting use to the fact that half her ear was missing, and didn't want to pay much attention to it. The midnight wolfess queitly waited for Fitz reaction, while she attempted to guess what he was up to. RE: Cumbersome times - FitzDutiful - April 07, 2015 Bindi, the dark princess who had been on his mind came into view. He thought desperately about finding a different route but thought better of it. He'd just tell Raissa it was pack business. And maybe make this pack business so that he wasn't lying to her. He sighed as he cast an eye over the shadow goddess as she approached. Her ear, the only really visible sign of the terrible trauma that had occurred. It was ragged and torn, it was unlikely to ever heal but it did nothing to detract from him the feelings. He felt guilty - enough as if he had been the one to cause it. And maybe he had. He should have talk to Raissa after he had spoken to Bindi. She neared closer and FitzDutiful smiled before she asked him a question. "Tired, Currently looking for food." he replied, he realised he should lead the pack in a hunt soon. The pups would need the nourishment from Raissa. "Only a few weeks to go." he said, almost amicably. He looked tired, he looked as though the weight of the world was upon his shoulders. He wanted the play over with. RE: Cumbersome times - Bindi - April 07, 2015 Bindi was glad to see Fitz smile back at her, and the closer she got the more she could see just how terrible Fitz looked. He seemed exhausted and Bindi thought that being a parent must really suck, if you look that bad all the time. When he said about trying to find food, she smiled at him remebering all the times she had made successful kills. "You should go back to the den and rest, I'll make sure to bring food for you guys" she said as she felt kind of bad for him. He had to do all the work while Raissa proabably slept the day away. Bindi wouldn't mind hunting, as she had nothing else to do. Besides Bindi somehow had grown a slight addiction to killing things, but she was sure it was just some weird phase she was going through. When he mentioned about the pups Bindi's smile widened and her tail swayed behind her. "I can't wait to meet them" she said happily and wondered how many were going to be born. All the midnight wolfess wanted was for those pups to love her. She didn't care if Raissa was their actual mother, Bindi would teach them to hunt, to be warriors, and go on adventures with them. Bindi hoped she would be their best freind, and that they would love her the same way she would love them. RE: Cumbersome times - FitzDutiful - April 07, 2015 Go back to the den and rest? He nearly laughed. It was the den that tiring him out. "I can't go back right now." he said. "That's what is tiring me out. I'd rather do something active." he needed to be hunting, to stretch and flex those muscles that seemed to ache with lack of use. He noted, from the next conversation point, that she seemed happier than he that the pups were going to be born. It made him happy to see her smile - though if he knew her secret addiction to death he might have feared somewhat for her. "Come with me? I wanted to talk to you about something anyway." he had to make this pack business some how. "I want to put the pack on higher alert. We need to step up the border patrols - scare away visitors without a legitimate reason for being here. With the pups coming soon I don't want any chance that anything can slip in - or out - without us knowing." He looked at her, the undertone clear in his eyes. RE: Cumbersome times - Bindi - April 08, 2015 Bindi was surprised to hear that the den was bothering him, and when he said he needed to do something active an idea popped into her mind. "You want to go on a hunt with me" she asked as she was hungry herself. Besides he was the one saying he was looking for food, and hunting one of those Rams would solve his problem. When he said about talking to her about something, she wondered what it was untill her question was answered when he explained about how they needed to be alert at the boaders. Bindi nodded her head to show she agreed with him, but she also knew that she would have to do most of the patrolling as not many wolves seemed to be around anymore. "Trust me, nothing will be able to sneak pass me" she said with a grin and looked to see Fitz reaction. Bindi wondered how Fitz could handle so much responsibility, and now that he would soon be a father even more responsibility would be on his shoulders. RE: Cumbersome times - FitzDutiful - April 09, 2015 FitzDutiful avoided answering Bindi's question until she had responded to his words about stepping up the border control. "Hunting would be lovely." He let her lead the way to some prey thinking all the while about the children that would soon be here. Bindi mentioned about meeting them and he realised that something was a bit different this time. Was she finding this entire situation as fake as him? Were they just both so weary? It was almost as if the attraction that had been so prevalent the past few months had dimmed. Did she blame him for the loss of her looks? She looked just as lovely to him but he was trying his best to avoid thinking of that right now. Maybe she was doing the same. "I can't wait to meet them either. Then this whole stupid charade will be closer to an end." The words blurted out before he could stop them. He was just glad that Raissa wasn't able to hear them. Then again, she wouldn't know what it meant. She couldn't. RE: Cumbersome times - Bindi - April 09, 2015 Bindi smiled when Fitz agreed to go on a hunt with her. She started leading the way up the mountain to the place she hunted a Ram with Jace at. When Fitz said how he was exited to meet the pups too, and that he just wanted this charade to be over Bindi slowed her pace. Was that the only reason why he wanted to meet his kids, so that this entire charade would be over? "I can't wait for this charade to be over either" she admitted. "People never really enjoyed being around me because I was always causing trouble, but I don't want to be mean anymore. I just hope that these pups will bring out the best in me." Bindi didn't really know why she was telling Fitz all that, just she figured it would pass the time. Besides he was a counselor, wasn't it is job to listen to others? "Actually you're the first person I ever liked" she said smiled at him realizing that he was indeed the first person Bindi got along with. However she didn't even process the fact that like could be taken two different ways. There was your normal friendship like, and then there was your I really like you Either way Bindi wouldn't care which way he took it as she felt both for him. RE: Cumbersome times - FitzDutiful - April 13, 2015 It was comforting to know that she was finding this as hard as he was. It actually brought him more than just that knowledge. It was the first time he had ever really had much of a kindling of her past. He listened carefully to the words that she said. He had never seen the mean streak within her - he hoped that she wouldn't give in to the temptation if she had that deep within. There were limits to the violence that he would abide. Then the conversation took another turn to her feelings towards him. "I like you too," he said in a way of comfort. "But once I break things off with Raissa... Well — I don't want to rush anything. I rushed it all too quick with Raissa and I will not make those mistakes again. Though, if she leaves, there's no one I would rather be a mother figure to the children." He had said too much. It was getting dangerous now. He reconfirmed that no one was about and decided not to risk anything more. "But now — let's hunt!" With that he stalked off after the prey they would feast upon today. RE: Cumbersome times - Bindi - April 27, 2015 His words sent little butterflies all through her stomach. When he spoke about how he didn't want to rush anything, she shook her head to agree with him. The midnight wolfess gave a smile, but felt something deep inside her that told her this feeling was bad. That it was bad to like Fitz. She had never felt like this for anyone before and the feeling she was getting now, slightly bothered Bindi. He will just hurt you just like everyone else, a voice said in her mind. Everyone you have ever know as left you, and he will do the same. It is bad to feel good. She shook the voice from her head, and focus back on Fitz. When he said let's hunt, Bindi smiled at the thought of hunting something. She figured during the hunt she could get the voices out of her head and clear her mind. "Yes lets hunt!" |
