Broken And Bloody - Kivi - April 23, 2015

As the sun began to rise, Kivi continued on her journey to better lands. She wanted nothing to do with her former home, as it held to many horrible memories. A rumble came from the female's stomach, and it reminded Kivi that she had not eaten for days. She didn't want to hunt as it would only slow down her journey, but the pain in her stomach kept growing to the point where she couldn't handle it anymore. She cursed and began to try and find a hare or two. Hunting rabbits is not what she wanted, no, she wanted a real meal. However she had no one to help her and so Kivi accepted the fact that she would just have to deal with a small meal.

A few minutes past, and the wolfess had a hare hanging limp in her jaws. She wouldn't eat it unless she absolutely needed to. The sun was now shining bright in Kivi's eyes, and she started towards some woods she saw. The shade felt wonderful, and the wolfess decided to stop and eat her hare. As she eat the female kept her eyes, ears, and nose alert for any other wolves. This was an unfamiliar place, and Kivi didn't like it. The woods were to dark for her liking, but she didn't feel like being blinded by the sun, so she stayed in the darkness.

The wolfess finished her meal, plucking every single peice of meat off the small creature. She flung the remains a good distance away, and looked around to see if her slaves would fight over the bones. It was then she was reminded that she had lost all her slaves due to starvation. Kivi growled as her slaves were her only form of entertainment, but it seemed she would have to find someone else to please her. After failing to find something even remotely entertaining, Kivi decided that today she would rest. She needed to regain strength if she wanted to continue on her journey.

After finding a comfortable place to sleep beside a tree, the wolfess curled up in a ball and let quiet snores escape her. She hated sleeping, as it made her vulnerable, but she need the rest. Kivi just hoped that no creature lurking in the shadows would kill her. However the wolfess was more concered about the monsters in her nightmare, than the ones in real life.

RE: Broken And Bloody - Rakharo - April 23, 2015

I'll add you to the Khalas list ;)

indentThe camp they had established in was comfortable enough to consider staying there for a longer wile. There were no mountains bothering them, except of couse the ones in the west, but that was the only thing that cut their sight in miles. And it felt a bit more like home. Just not enough to claim it as such.

indentThere was also a forest to the south. Thick and quite large, and Rakharo often patroled the flatland close to the treeline to make sure nothing came out of it to destroy his small Khalas. He had to be precautious still, knowing tat they were still vulnerable. So far it had all been okay, no one bothered them too much, and he felt tranquil to turn around north and gather with his Khalas. But the scent of fresh blood drifted to his nostrils, making his spine hairs rise.

indentHe followed the scent until he found a laying wolf not too deep inside the forest. She was vulnerable. Easy to get rid of. But something called the Khal's attention just before he darted to kill the female. She had just eaten a rabit. A large one. And by her looks Rakharo easily decifred that she wasn't a pack wolf. She had caught the rabbit alone, in a poor physical state. She had to be pretty fast to do such a thing.

indent"Svaust majaka wux batobot, aesthyr? the Khal asked, knowing that it had been her who had caught it. And then repeated, knowing that as she was asleep she wouldn't get the message the first time. "Wer achthend, svaust majaka coi ekess wux?"

RE: Broken And Bloody - Kivi - April 23, 2015

The wolfess twitched when she heard the sound of a voice. It finally registered in her mind that she wasn't alone anymore. Kivi opened her eyes to find a tall, strong male. The female rose to her feet, and stood before the gold and copper male. She hadn't heard the first time he asked the question, but she did hear the second time. Kivi wondered why he would think anyone gave her the meal. Did she really look the helpless? The wolfess certainly wasn't in the best condition she could be in. However after all that traveling, her legs provided the strength and speed needed to catch the hare.

"Si caught coi sio" the wolfess answered proudly. The wolfess's mother was a warrior, and huntress, and Kivi vowed to follow in her footsteps. She was prepared to honor her mother, as she was the only person to ever care about Kivi. The female watched the strange male for any signs of him attacking, but so far he showed none. If he did attack, the female would stand no chance against the him, but she wouldn't go down without a fight.

RE: Broken And Bloody - Rakharo - April 27, 2015

indentLuckily for Kivi, Rakharo had no intentions of killing her. He had other intentions for the female, who so far seemed to be an avid hunter. He wasn't used to seeing such small and agile prey, and he would never think about trying to catch one so little himself. It must have been a great ability. He would find a good place for someone like that in his Khalas.

indent"Tira wux?" the Khal asked with a teasing smile. "Wux zklaen qe zi tonsal, ghergo Fonakeesi..." he said and sat down on his strong haunches to keep studying the female with his flaming orange eyes. "Wux re vi Dotharan." he concluded from her good use of the language and her demeanor. It was easy to spot a Dotharan in a crowd anyways. "Svanoa tiric vi upadoc Dotharan confn zyak karif de Rhaesh Dahaan loaw?" he finished, but a more important question would be "why?" and he planned to discover it further ahead.

RE: Broken And Bloody - Kivi - April 27, 2015

She smiled when he said she was agile huntress. "Abhlek si mi, coi ui sia jennuilti skill." It was her best skill and the one she focused on most. When she would hunt she would release any anger she had on the inside, and it would help her avoid hurting someone. When the male stated how she was Dotharan Kivi wanted to roll her eyes as it was pretty obvious she was, or at least to her it was obvious.

When he asked how she came here alone, Kivi looked at him a bit offended. She hated when men thought that women could not do the same as them. Although she couldn't blame him since many women she knew were not warriors or adventures, but Kivi was not like other female's. It disgusted Kivi on how some female's were weak and relied on male's for everything. "Svabol, tir wux siofme vi versvesh Dotharan aesthyri shilta ti ossalur loaw" she asked him.

RE: Broken And Bloody - Rakharo - April 29, 2015

indentThe female had guts. Rakharo liked that in his subordinates, which made Kivi a perfect candidate to join his small Khalas which would soon claim a territory of its own in this new lands. All he needed now was Bison herds, and so far the search hadn't given any results. He, and his Khalas would have to keep moving until a good place to establish was found.

indentRakharo, as it was no secret, didn't think greatly of female's abilities. He thought they were the weaker gender, made to bring the young to the world, which was their biggest strength. But he also recognized there were many exceptioins to his thinking, and whenever he found a female worth of his respect he would give it away without second thoughts. Kivi still hgad to earn that respect, and Rakharo still wasn't completely sure about her hunting skills, but she was worth a try.

indent"Si nurti said batobot. Si jahus filki torir tagoa coi vorqic hefoc wux tepoha coanwor tirir coi zi algbo." he said, recognizing the same to himself. He had come to a very different place, and he still didn't know how to behave in that strange place. "Svabol tir astahii relgr wux, Fonakeesi?"

RE: Broken And Bloody - Kivi - April 29, 2015

Kivi was stubborn and would make sure that every male that doubted her abilities, would be shown just how strong she really was. All her life she was raised by a wolfess who was a mighty warrior, but due to this she was shamed upon by many males. Kivi was raised with many of her adoptive siblings, and each and every one of them became warriors. If Kivi had to choose one person who she thought was the strongest wolf in all the world, she would pick Allayi.

The number one thing that made Kivi want to rip someone's head off was when a male thought that female's were only on the earth to give them children. One day Kivi would want to bring children into this world, and she would make sure that the lucky male would respect her, and would be in her children's lives. Not be a coward and run off like her father did to her.

When the male stated how he never thought she couldn't travel alone, Kivi gave a huff. "Algbo kruth hak" was all Kivi said and gave a slight smile. When he asked what they call her Kivi said "Si mi Kivi ki Allayi" proudly. She never used her father's name when saying who she was. It has always been Kivi
ki Allayi, and will always be that.

RE: Broken And Bloody - Rakharo - May 02, 2015

Sorry for not using the translator or the fancy format... I just wanted to write a quick reply tonight...

"Honor to you, Kivi. I am Khal Rakharo." the golden warrior said with an assuring nod. He had noticed that the girl introduced herself with the name of her mother, and not her father, and it pinched the Khal's interest. He had never used his father's name again, not since the bloody day he decided to ruin his own son's life. He didn't deserve to be called a father, and Rakharo didn't give him that honor anymore.

"Tell me, Fonakeesi... Why do you use your mother's name and not your father's? Was he such a bad guy?"

RE: Broken And Bloody - Kivi - May 02, 2015

Your fine <3

When the male said how he was a Khal, Kivi instantly gave a bow. "Petranas onelka ve ihk wer lack di tekilek, ihk si tira ti vucot wux jahen vi Khal" Kivi said and kept her head bowed for a few more seconds. She did not know if the male infront of her was truly a Khal, but she would rather be safe than sorry. When he showed interest in why Kivi had used her mother's name she smiled at him. Not many people were to interested about her past, and so she would was happy to tell someone.

"Sia biological dask loreata majakir uthwix ekess ve, zyak ve vur sia isthasyi jahen adopted ini Allayi. Svadrav sia shio isthasy ui|ulph loreata sia opsola zulf ve. Si filiik jaci ergriff doegea zahae jacida deevdrui. Allayi raised ve vur mrith jacioniv annyo xihuul, vur zyak si siofme jacioniv sia dask." Kivi finished her story and watched the male's reaction. The female never truly knew why her father left her, but she did not care. He was no longer in her life, and she would not fuss over someone she barely knew.

RE: Broken And Bloody - Rakharo - May 03, 2015

Kivi had an honest story about her name and life, and Rakharo had no reason to think it was a lie. He actually didn't care that much, he just wanted to know the female's background, something he believed was useful if you were a leader. He wanted to be not only feared, but respected, something his own father lacked as a Khal. Everyone hated him but stayed by his side for fear. He didn't want that.

"Then she is the only worthy of being called your mother." Rakharo said respectfully. He didn't want to share his own story, it brought back bad memories and a lot of pain that he wasn't rady to take yet, so he kept it all to himself, and only Lavakho knew the story beside him.

"I need good hunters in my Khalas, Kivi. I woudl offer you a place with us if you pledge your loyalty to me, but you will have to prove worthy of it. We are on a journey to find a new home..." he finally offered, knowing now that the female deserved a chance to get a new start just as he did himself.

RE: Broken And Bloody - Kivi - May 03, 2015

Kivi smiled when the male said the Allayi was the only one worthy of being called Kivi's mother. Indeed she was and the female for the first time ever thanked her father for leaving her, because if he would have stayed, then Kivi might not have been raised by Allayi. Kivi listened as the golden male explained how if she pledged her loyalty and proved worthy she would have a place in his Khalas. It would be a difficult choice to join the Khalas and in the end Kivi decided to go with what her heart was telling her.

"I will pledge my loyalty to you and prove my worth in more than one way" Kivi said in one full sentance. She needed to regain her strength and show the wolves in this area exactly what she was capable of, and if Kivi was accepted by this Khal that was exactly what she would do. The finding a new home part interested the wolfess. She had not had a home in a very long time, as she was always traveling. A home sounded like a new beginning, just what Kivi was searching for.

RE: Broken And Bloody - Rakharo - May 03, 2015

And just like that, Rakharo's Khalas was a bit bigger. Kivi was a promising female and the golden Khal was happy to give her a place in his pack. They would be stronger with her, he hoped, that was all he wanted. He needed to make sure his claim in a new land wouldn't be too weak, and the only way to get that was by recruiting strong wolves to hold your back. Unity is strength.

"Honor to you, Kivi ki Allayi. I expect to see your strength very soon. This is not a free offer..." the Khal said with seriousness in his voice. He was someone who respected those who deserved it and no one else. Kivi better show him why she was a good recruit, or else she would be left behind once again. That is how things were with the Dotharan.

RE: Broken And Bloody - Kivi - May 03, 2015

Kivi gave a nod to her new Khal. She proved she was a worthy wolf to everyone she came across and she was ready to prove it to this golden male. It was only a matter of time before he saw that she was a strong individual but at the same time an excellent team player. Kivi was ready to go through both physical and mental exhaustion to prove that she was a hard worker.

When the golden male said honor to her, Kivi shook her head slightly. He was the one that deserved the honor, he was Khal after all. "Honor to you Khal Rakharo" she said and finished with a small bow. When he said how this was not a free offer, Kivi shook her head agreeing with him. "I understand" was all the female believed she had to say in order to get him to know she was serious.

RE: Broken And Bloody - Rakharo - May 03, 2015

This will be my last post, you're officially in! :D

Rakharo felt proud to see once again a wolf pledging loyalty to himself and his Khalas. It was his duty as leader to make the pack grow larger and stronger, and he had done well so far. Four wolves and a slave had added themselves to the pack and now it was time to ride for the final goal, to find a place where they belonged, a land of bison, a sea of grass.

"Follow me, Kivi. I will introduce you to the pack..."
the golden Khal barked and turned around to walk out of the forest and into open field, where his Khalas awaited them, probably with a good kill to feed for the night.

RE: Broken And Bloody - Kivi - May 03, 2015

Yay :)

Kivi gave a nod and followed behind her new Khal. She was gald she decided to stop and hunt that rabbit today. Kivi wondered how many other wolves were in this pack, and what their personalities were. She didn't want to be arguing with every wolf she met, and she just hoped that she could prove herself to be a valuable wof. The female would strive to be on top and be respected, but of course she would have to earn that respect. That's exactly what Kivi would do when given the perfect oppertunity, she would earn respect.
