A wild heart can never be tamed - Raissa - April 23, 2015 Dont know how well this is going to work out, but whatever :3 @Mason @June
Raissa had been in the cave for too long aside from the brief pack meeting and she needed to get out and do something. Currently the pups were sleeping peacefully by her side and she was hesitant to disturb them, but she kind of had to pee. Hopefully @FitzDutiful would be close enough to hear her. She called out quietly for him, maybe he would be close enough so he could come stay with the pups for a bit while she stretched her legs more then the average bathroom break. Maybe she would even get to meet some of the wolves that had joined the pack during her care taking period. RE: A wild heart can never be tamed - Mason - April 26, 2015 Although his mottled ears had not yet begun to rise, and were still folded quite neatly to his head, Mason had begun to hear. His mother's soft call chimed like harmonious bells in the recesses of his ears. Mason lifted his head from slumber to gaze up at Raissa, and both eyes now being open, he smiled. "Aboohbah." He gurgled in attempted imitation of her call. He could do little beside make garbled noises at the moment and it frustrated him no end when he really wanted to understand what all of these little noises meant. He had begun to notice certain syllables - such as his own name, and those of his family - which were repeated more frequently and often directed at him. Mason lifted himself to his over-large paws and padded a few paces from Raissa's warmth to squat and tinkle on the bare ground. He didn't care where he went. He had hoped to copy his father's leg-cock soon but it appeared even his stubby legs could not withhold his weight on three limbs just yet. Mason turned back to his mother and gave an excited yip, dropping clumsily into a play-bow. Play-time Mama? RE: A wild heart can never be tamed - Raissa - April 26, 2015 It seemed one of her tiny babies was starting to hear, because Mason lifted his tiny head and gurgled adorably at her before tottering around to find a place to go pee. She smiled lovingly at him as he turned back to her and wobbled into a play bow, his sparkling eyes smiling at her. Raissa let out a low chuckle before turning to check on June, who was still fast asleep beside her. She turned her warm orange gaze back to her handsome little boy with a smile, reaching out a paw to softly scuff him across the ears. "Can you say 'Mama'?" she asked in a baby voice, her eyes sparkling with adoration. RE: A wild heart can never be tamed - Mason - May 15, 2015 He could see the play of dim light, rippling across the mottled fur which covered her agile form. His Mama. From her position nestled against June, Raissa lifted her paw and batted his ears. Her voice slinked through the muffled quiet of the den and graced his coloured ears. They pricked as best they could, to take in the sounds. The way her voice lilted on ‘Mama’ gave him instruction. Mason opened his mouth, eager to copy her words. “Saaah!” Wait… that wasn’t right, was it? Frustration etched itself onto his slender features. Though he was gradually building upwards and outwards, his body tended towards fragility compared to most his age. Perhaps because he was not, truly, their age but some weeks younger. Mason lifted himself out of his playbow, frowning, and stamped one paw on the floor of the den in the very starting thread of a tantrum. RE: A wild heart can never be tamed - Raissa - June 02, 2015 She watched him with caring amusement as he attempted to say the word, and when he wasn't satisfied with it, stomped his tiny paw. She still had a hard time believing that this perfect little being was her son. That she was blessed with two perfect little babies. Raissa watched Mason carefully before reaching a paw out and scooping him up, bringing his small from towards her and licking his soft little ears. "Don't worry baby, you'll get it eventually. You're going to grow up big and strong aren't you?" she cooed, continuing to lick his ears in a soothing manner. |
