Once upon a time I loved it here - Blue Willow - May 17, 2015 Blue trotted from the den, but didn't go far. She stood looking over the pack lands as the sun shined up and over and all around. She tilted her head and watched the splash of colors, as it painted a ruby picture, full of cerise and orange. She took a deep breath, and exhaled, settled to her haunches. Lately, she did not feel at home. She didn't quiet understand what this new melancholy was, only that it was there. Perhaps, she was finally realizing she really had nothing, but her friends and family. She was strolling leisurely through life, with no challenges, and no pain. She was happy, but it was a strange sort of hollow happy. It was the warning she supposed, that something would come and rock her world. There had been peace and love, for far too long. The plateau as unfortunate as it was, was not a peaceful place. At least not for long periods of time. There was always some sort of drama, or something. She hoped she was wrong, but she couldn't quite shake the feeling of terror and unsettling feelings. So rather than give in to the darkness that wanted to creep. Rather she just sat and let the night bleed into day, and she prayed. She prayed hard. RE: Once upon a time I loved it here - Shar-Kali - May 18, 2015 Shar-Kali had every intention of seeking out the pack's healer, and she did not have to wait long. Blue Willow was easily recognizable. Though Lasher had not described his wife in any detail, the subtle broadness of her hips and the deeply ingrained scent of herbs gave her away. Shar-Kali emerged soundlessly from the forest, approaching the woman diagonally from behind - she caught the tail-end of a burdened sigh before it vanished on a passing breeze. "Trouble in paradise?" the older wolf asked kindly, pausing a few meters away from the distracted female. She looked unhappy. Not woefully so, but certainly unfocused. "You must be Blue Willow." A most unusual name - Shar-Kali wondered if she preferred just 'Blue' or 'Willow' instead. RE: Once upon a time I loved it here - Blue Willow - May 28, 2015 Blue heard another approaching, as she sighed. She however didn't try to make it seem like she was hiding it. After all, what was a family if they did not share their burdens sometimes. And she wasn't really burdened as much as uneasy. There was something amiss, and she wasn't quite sure what it was. Perhaps, she was just aging badly. It was possible, and it was days like this, that she missed Atticus, though she had Lasher. Blue turned and gazed at the she wolf near her and shook her head a small smile on her face. Depends on what type of Paradise you are speaking of? If you are wondering of Lasher and I and our children. No that paradise is fine. As for here and now, there is an uneasiness to the air I feel. Blue tilted an ear forward as the she wolf spoke her name quietly and she nodded. Yes I am Blue Willow. You may call me Blue or Willow if you prefer and you must be Shar-Kali? Lasher told me of you. RE: Once upon a time I loved it here - Shar-Kali - June 14, 2015 An uneasiness in the air. Shar-Kali canted her head to one side and smiled kindly at the burdened healer, blinking slowly. "Yes, I am her. Can I help you with your thoughts?" she offered, taking a seat and curving both ears forward in a display of attention. An uneasiness.. Shar-Kali had not felt such a thing in a long time. Things either were, or they weren't - there was no sense in wasting time on whims. RE: Once upon a time I loved it here - Blue Willow - June 22, 2015 Blue chuckled softly, I wish you could, but even I don't know the exact way of my thoughts. Nor where they came from, perhaps it is just me being silly. Tell me of yourself though? Do you like it here thus far? Blue turned so she was facing the she wolf and perked her ears forward happy to spend the day talking of nothing really, other than whether the sky was blue if the other so wanted. |
