S'ari felt satisfied and settled here in the Ravine. She had gathered others to her, including two from the home Tribe, though she had yet to meet Ko'a again since Kusuma had brought her here. She yipped for her now, eager to see her cousin and ask her about her travels. She wondered how long Ko'a had waited before leaving the Tribe, if she had followed S'ari out, or if their overlap was simple chance. It seemed like fate had gotten involved, but fate and coincidence were often difficult to parse.

Ko'a enjoyed to roam, to venture far out and see new lands. She traveled and traded goods from her people unto others, even packs.
But Ko'a had done much walking on hot sand to get here. For a time, she was happy to find settlement at the Ravine. To relax under the red arches and listen to the sound of running water as the river ended here around the green.
Her sister calls to her and Ko'a barks back, hoping up from her place to join her cousin.

Edit Reason: I just used the word "me" omg we can't have that.

For context, Ri'zura is S'ari's sister, also a Tribe member. Realistically, Ko'a and she would know each other.
S'ari smiled at Ko'a's approach.
It is good to see you, as well, she purred, and came forward to press her forehead against her cousin's.
Has this one been following S'ari all the way from our home desert? S'ari is flattered. She batted her eyelashes at her cousin playfully, then laughed.
Ri'zura is here, as well. You must see her; she will be happy to know that it is not just the two of us now.S'ari sat down where she was, ignoring the hot sand on her haunches. She was used to the heat.
So. Tell S'ari all.And she waited with glittering brown eyes, like beetles in the sand.

Yes- that sounds legit!
Her cousin questions of Ko'a's travel, batting her lashes and laughing, which causes Ko'a to do the same, as it is contagious.
Yes, yes. She has. You were harder to track then some, but as you can see this one managed.
Then, she spoke of her sister.
This is good news! She would be happy to see Ri'zura as well, of course. These lands, they smelt of many however, many more then just the two sisters and their half-blood cousin.
Ko'a heard of your departure, of sands beyond and so, followed. She shrugged then. There was not much to tell, really. Ko'a often enjoyed traveling around. Visiting other groups, villages and packs for trade. This idea, to go much further and have new settlement, it thrilled Ko'a and it showed in the brightness and excitement in her pale eyes.
What all have you found here, cousin?

Hmm,S'ari hummed when Ko'a said that she had tracked her all this way.
Perhaps S'ari is not as sneaky as she thought. She will have to be more careful next time. Her eyes twinkled with mirth. Everyone at home had known that she was leaving, so she was only being silly.
Ko'a's story was short, a strange thing for one of the Tribe, who often liked to speak for hours if given the chance. And now she wanted to know what S'ari had found here.
Ah,S'ari said, thinking.
S'ari has traveled this desert far and wide, and found many things. Two pools of water side by side, and under the ground, connected by a tunnel. A place of many rattlesnakes--best to avoid, yes? Rolling sand dunes, good for sliding down. Some wolves, mostly kind and willing to tolerate Coyote.(She thought of Alphus, here, but did not mention him. He would be her secret. Besides, it was no longer mating season. There would be no pups from their encounter, and so nothing to show for it.)
And many of our own kind,S'ari went on.
Coyotes are drawn to the Desert; this is something all Tribe knows. And so, S'ari has brought them together. And now Ko'a is here, as well. She grinned joyously at her cousin.
We will begin anew here. And carry on the Tribe's ways.

Ko'a laughs, shaking her head.
Her cousin then began to speak of her own travels and Ko'a's brightly gingered ears perked to attention. Many of the Tribe loved to tell stories of adventure, even made up stories and Ko'a was always ready to listen. Her cousin had seen many things and met many other coyote. Ko'a interest was obvious but yes, she had no intention of going to the lands filled with rattlesnakes.
Now that she was finished, Ko'a added on:
Challenge accepted. She teased back. Ko'a began to wonder then if others from their home tribe would come this way to join them. Ko'a hadn't any other siblings and her mother held no interest in traveling from the place where she lived now. Secretly, Ko'a wondered if she might run into her father while 'out on the road', but had not seen him since a yearling anyhow. No matter.

You have seen so much cousin and met so many. Ko'a smells them all around. We will never be without Tribe. Sa'ri has brought us all together, yes? So we will all be as one here, too. They were all connected in one way or another and all welcomed, so long as they were kind to one another. Even the half-breeds, like herself. Her coyote blood ran strong.
Now that she was finished, Ko'a added on:
In this new place, this one arrived to a green meadow- many wild flowers. It was @Kusuma who found Ko'a and we moved swiftly, straight to this Ravine. After finding out that the coyle/jackote knew S'ari, Ko'a had wanted to reunite with those of the Tribe before exploring the new region around them.
Now Ko'a thinks she would like to visit all these things her cousin speaks of.

sorry for the wait, I've had low muse + health stuff going on.
Yes, yes, S'ari has met many, the coyote agreed.
And now, many are here. And Ko'a will meet them, too.Her tail wagged behind her at the thought of this big happy family, though it slowed at the remembrance of Candle, who had become so quiet of late. That interaction with the wolf at their borders had shaken the poor girl, and she'd become even more reserved than before. S'ari worried...
Ah,she said, coming out of her thoughts,
this one has also been to the meadow. Quite beautiful in the summer, yes? And there are good medicinal plants there, good for healers. She thought of her sister, then. She should tell Ri'zura of the meadow.
Well, Ko'a may explore the Desert as she wishes. She knows the ways of the Tribe. The Desert is our home, no matter where we lay our head. No one is forced to stay here, and may wander as long as they like. She hesitated.
S'ari only asks that this one does not lead wolves back to the Ravine, no? There are some here who do not... like our bigger cousins.

Your fine! You can see that I have failed as well. Lol
Her cousin speaks more of the meadow and Ko'a nods as she listens. It was a shame, it was so far back west but it mattered litter, for this place here of water and red archways was a stunning find!
Then, a smile turns to a deep frown, at the mention of wolves and how they did not belong.
You need not remind this one, cousin. We all know how unkind the wolves are to our kind. They often were thought as less. As pests.
Even though this one is half, the coy has accepted far more then the other has ever and likely, will ever. She had found acceptance among the Tribe. Those who were Tribe deep in their roots.
Of course, there was some coy which feared her. Many wolves which detest her. It was hard, this was true, but mostly among those born of Tribe, had only ever been accepting of her as one of their own.
