All Welcome
To the west and over the barrier mountains.

A simple task in theory, yet seeing them in the distance Arslan felt a sense of dread. He had left with such a pep in his step, yet now he was feeling far less confident. He had little to lead off of - a simple description. He felt a twinge of annoyance.

'I better be rewarded well for this' was the constant thought running through his mind, yet he was unsure of what exactly his reward should be. He did not particularly care for the affections of Soto, and the other wolves of Verapaz did not appeal to him any more or any less.

Could they offer him riches? Simple entertainment? He did not know.

Warning for: Sexual themes, misogynistic themes, homophobia. Keep in mind that I do not agree with all that my characters do or say. If you feel any discomfort, let me know!

After wandering aimlessly for the next few days after her family's departure, Dwin had finally decided that she would not stay in the area, but seek greener pastures elsewhere in the wilds. The coast was on top of her list. But since she did not know, when she would return, she took one last walk around the now empty caldera, stopping at places that were witnesses of her childhood, early youth and adulthood - of all the goods and bads, highs and lows - she turned west. Broken Antler Fen had been the first home of Brecheliant - though Dwin had not been there to witness it. However, inspired by a whim of a moment, she decided to visit her aunt Wraen's grave. Maia, to whom her sister had been very important during her lifetime, had made sure that the aunt's memory lived on.

However, not everything went as solemnly and sacredly Dwin had planned. Because, when she arrived, some dude was coming from the opposite side and without paying any attention to the ground, walked right over the aunt's grave-site. "OY, you!" Dwin called out to the very rude man (in her biased opinion). "Don't you hold anything sacred? You just walked over my dead aunt there!"
