All Welcome
she is engaged in her work, a short distance from Elysium's borders. she knows this place well, and the riches it provides. already, she has collect in a small glade half a dozen careful pile of greenery. she will work until the sun sets, and worries at a patch of mint now, tugging away the mature branches with careful nips at their stems.

when she has amassed a sizable pile, the sea-witch collects the stems carefully within her maw. taking a moment to adjust the pile so that her fangs do as little damage as possible, she begins her way back towards the clearing, light of heart and easy of step.

Saarthal was beginning to think her previous perceptions of herself had been wrong. Because looking at the way things were going, it seemed pretty clear that she was a massive procrastinator. Procrastinating at joining a pack, procrastinating at socialising, procrastinating at life. When, when exactly had this become her? Where was the old her? The happy, easygoing, life is bad but still pretty freaking good her? Saarthal frowned and kicked, discontented, at the ground. The pain resulting from her semi-violent endeavour was not at all mild, but she supposed she deserved it, seeing as she was doing nothing but casually fucking up her life. Saar was so lost in her accusing thoughts that when she turned a corner, she smacked face-first into some furry wolfish body where she proceeded to mutter a confused 'wut' before losing her balance, falling rather unceremoniously onto the ground with a thud. "Ow."

she sidestepped in a futile attempt to save her teetering balance; she remained upright,  but in her surprise the mint fell from her maw. she does not mind with it; the more pressing matter is the wolf who has stridden confidently into her side. it takes her a moment to re-orient herself and swing around to face the stranger, but when she does, her stance is calm. she doubts she has much to worry about from the stranger, clumsy as she is, and though she is still taken aback, her first words are, "are you alright?"

"Shit - I'm so sorry," Saarth blurted out, ears sliding back against her skull apologetically as her gaze flickered upward to the stranger. Oh jeez, why do i always have to have my embarrassing humiliating fucked up moments in front of goddesses...and also hot sexy demonesses but that is, uh, that is probably besides the point. oh wait - did she say something. i think she did, ok, saarthal, saarthal, snap the fuck out of it, you've been staring for like a minute, that is not cool, wow i really am not doing great at life,  - "Um, yes - I am ok, I am definitely okay," Saar scrambled to her paws, straightening herself, "are you okay? Sorry about crashing into you - I was just thinking and then I wasn't looking and then you appeared and I didn't see you because if I definitely would've stopped if I saw you because you're...uh," Saarthal shut her mouth abruptly, flushing a deep shade of scarlet. She ducked her head in embarrassment, angry that she wasn't some darker shade; pale as she was, the stranger was sure to see her blushing all over. Why, why did she always ramble and fuck things up? Why did her brain-to-mouth filter always shut down?? it's fine, it's fine, it's all completely fine, i just need to get out of here now before she - asdfghjk someone just kill me, someone kill me now.

"you are sure?" she asks again, for the woman seems a little, well, out of it. at her questions, and subsequent apology, the witch dips her head in a soft affirmative. at the woman's words, and her aggressive blushing, her muzzle curls into a soft smile despite herself, and she affirms softly; "do not be sorry.  it is just as much my fault as yours; besides, perhaps it is fortune that had us collide." thelxiope does not believe much in coincidences, and so cannot believe that this is random chance, nor can she believe that this is misfortune.

"I am Thelxiope," she offers after a beat, hoping the woman will shift her gaze back up from the ground again - she'd rather like to see her face again.

Even her voice sounded pretty. Piercing, it had the quality of wind chimes, of the chirping of birds on the first morning of spring; she had always had an appreciation for nice voices what with her own being rather deep and droning and whatnot. Saar hadn't actually taken in much of what the stranger had said after 'do not be sorry', having been far too busy entertaining the train wreck of thoughts in her head. "Saarthal," Saar mustered up the remains of her courage, swallowed her embarrassment and straightened up, daring to glance at the stranger again. Oh jeez"I'm Saarthal, uh, nice to meet you." say something interesting and cool saar! "You from around here?"
