All Welcome
Miriam felt exhausted, as she stayed up for hours watching her daughter. She told @Asmoses and @Liliana to make sure never to leave each other, especially after the incident. She absolutely made sure too, they should have another adult be near. Either herself, their father, or another all-together- she didn't want them to be alone.

Which meant she wouldn't be alone either, only after finding comfort with her own being and with Mal, she had momentarily found peace. Though it all came crashing when her dear daughter had been harmed and attacked. Miriam couldn't forgive herself for being too late, and she knew, she couldn't forgive who had done it.

The two were laid inside the den, as the mother was outside. She let the rain gently drizzle upon her, while quietly watching the world. It quietly hide the small crystals falling from her starry-eyes.

The rain was now a gentle drizzle, something he could handle. He was getting tired of the deluge, though he knew that his complaints would not be enough to placate whatever spirits had dictated that the rain must fall and fall and fall.

He wandered through the forest, content on doing a little check-in before he took time to rest. He wandered towards Miriam's den, hoping to just do a peek in before moving on, but she was there, resting in the rain. He chuffed to her. Hello, his tail wagging gently.

The rain washed away the crystals that could not be seen. She rubbed a paw against her eye, and tried to hold a smile. It was clear it was cracking, as she held emotions that simply were bursting with sorrow, "H.. Hello Haoniyao." She greeted with a shaky voice. While a doll-like appearence, Miriam was never one to easily hide her true feelings behind a mask. She was a maiden, who all were honest how they were, and did not know deceit.

She just didn't want to worry others, but it was hard to hold herself together.

Yao knew that she was upset. Something had happened, something wrong and painful. He had only met her once, but he could tell that she was not alright. He didn't know if she expected him to speak to her — it wouldn't be right of her to do so to him, a man. At least, that was his instinct.

Instead, he walked towards her, and laid down. He pressed one paw to her shoulder. Baa haipati mmoja. he said, locking eyes with her. When one of us hurts, all of us do.

Miriam broke down crying. Her shoulders shook as she raged with a sadness, "who would do that to a little girl?" the mother mourned over her daughter's misfortunate, and thoughts of curses toward the man who done such an act. Her own daughter was only growing, would she remember? The pain that happened? The flinching toward others that she saw?

"I never wanted to wish harm onto someone," she confessed through her sobbing, "until I saw what was done. The Goddess is so disappointed in me- I have failed her, and failed as a mother."

A monster, he catches on quickly, hearing the pain in her voice and the words that managed to slip from her sobbing frame. Someone had hurt one of her children. In what way didn't matter. It was still nothing a good person did.

He doesn't know the right thing to say in response, knowing nothing about her Goddess' creeds, or the truth of the situation. Instead, he moves his head forward and presses it against her chest, allowing himself to feel the pain in her chest.

When he moved onto her chest, she leaned over her head over his neck and continued to sob loudly. The rain covered the two and matched her endless crystals as she mourned to what has happened. Miriam wasn't sure how to handle it, she wasn't sure how her own daughter was handling it. She was so young.. Did she understand?

She was so young, what monster could even do that? He was right, whoever did was monster. She wished for the Goddess to forgive her for these malicious thoughts, and she hoped to pray the darkness away. For herself, and for her daughter, but she struggled onto the man who did it.

He was so deep, there was no redemption.
