The sooner Raziel moved away from the Alpha's den, the better, he knew because of his presence, Kove had not slept in the den for some while and probably hadn't seen the albino for sometime too. He knew the white king did not blame him (probably) but Raziel did, they were mates after all and he was depriving the two of them of the time they deserved together. Especially with Scarlett pregnant with his litter of pups. It would be nice to have puppies in Bearclaw Valley, it was a bit dull here after all with the lack of members. When I recovered, he reminded himself, I will go and recruit more wolves.
The Bearclaw wolf found poppy flowers and were already collecting the seeds, poppy seeds, they could be used as painkillers, soothe distress or shock and help wolves sleep. Pushing the seeds into a large leaf with his paw, he dipped his head to clamp his jaws gently around to leaf and carry it back to the den. He made several trips back and forth, each time with different herbs in his jaws, he was about to make another trip when Scarlett's howl rang through the air.
Quickly, the grey prince left his new den and raced towards the location of the howl, as fast as he could without pain coursing through him. He skidded to a halt in front of her. The scent of puke surrounded her, it was normal for a pregnant woman, nothing to really worry about but it wasn't comfortable. Raziel didn't say it out loud, be he was secretly glad he hadn't been born a female.
Bowing slightly to his leader, Raz was suddenly aware of his new scars. He had removed the cobwebs with the poultices and while many of his cuts healed with no evidence of scars, there were a few who he knew, would remain forever. The nick in his ear was old and so was the shoulder scar, made before he arrived at Teekon Wilds. But the three claw scars on the bridge of his muzzle and the patchy, ragged, furless wound on his chest? That was from the loners. He pushed away those thoughts, and turned his teal gaze to Scarlett. "Whatsup?"
