Haunted Wood We ruled the world

It didn't surprise the spider in the least, somehow, that the black-coated female from before showed up as the apparent back up. Fiery eyes traced her moves, the words spit from mouth, and expression shifted into that of a cool, confident smirk. No doubt the wolf was angry and this pleased the troublesome Eta. The snap to pick himself up and leave prompted a faint smile. Her and what army? Whatever backup she had before that lurked in bushes? No. She may think her soldiers great but they were few and weak (as lone wolves). 

The dark male, who had apparently sent the younger wolf packing in tears, spoke next. One tall, inky ear swiveled his direction, suddenly incredibly happy to have found such a treat. The chill vehemence in his warning was regarded in another smile. Two versus one, bitch. The emotion was clear on the Eta's face. The aspiring alpha was fighting a losing battle. She thought herself so mighty to perch on this other pack wolf's plot. A cunning maliciousness exuded from the spider's face. 

The paler wolf, despite warning, launched into assault and the inky wolf stood in one fluid account. Shoulders thrust forward, wide paws bringing the inky wolf before the darker loner in clear threat. Try it, the actions hissed, black lips peeling back to expose a flicker of cutlery below in forewarning. It wasn't the Spire wolf's fight, but the cause was just enough to warrant action. The spider would not hesitate to punt the little rodents back a peg should they try Sawtooth's mountain territory next. While the dark alpha grappled with the white weakling, the spider addressed the female met prior. She should call her friend off and leave before more backup arrived. 

Individuals of such little caliber were to be destroyed.
