For Vlad, Sigfrid's predicament was an opportunity.
He had decided to stay within howling distance of the the Sound in case @Rosalyn needed anything - although there was not much he could offer if she took a turn for the worse. It was low tide, and the Russian was patrolling the beach, hoping for visitors to charm. He had successfully recruited Caoimhe, and the fact that so sweet and lovely a wolf would even give him the time of day had boosted Vlad's confidence considerably.
And here was another such damsel - lovely to behold and very much in need of assistance.
Vlad stepped back from the cliff so that he could see her better and set his tail a-waggin'. "'EY. THEES CLEEF NO GUD FOR WULF," Well, obviously.
