Stavanger Bay visiting from the heavens

The peculiar creature shrunk some upon his approach. He did not move to increase his size or make her feel as though she was being intimidated from the premises, but the cold expression on his face did not change as he roamed her figure with a hollow mismatched stare. In spite of how she might have felt about him at first sight, she garnered her strength and offered a name that reminded him of his mother in many ways. There was a softness to her that did not appear to pose a threat to his land, or the wolves who resided within it.

It was her request that struck him as being an oddity. The girl didn't seek to join the rift, but she wanted to delve into the bay and survey the land that they had claimed for themselves. Ford's brow furrowed and he frowned at her, unsure if he liked the sound of that. It was a risk to allow strangers to cross the threshold and enter his home. He could have been putting everyone else in great danger if the petite woman in front of him had plans beyond scoping out the bay.
