One month had passed since he was kicked out of his pack violently; not physically mind you, but verbally it was made more than obvious that he wasn't welcome back home. Unless..well, unless he didn't came home empty-handed. His sister had been very fast to acquire a lover and a mate, all in one. She had fallen head-over-heels with a loner that joined the pack ranks in the hope of one day becoming Alpha, together with his sister. Truthfully, the idea of this bad rom-com without any drama sickened him to the core; not that he was opposed to romance but because it was so picture perfect. It held a situation and scenario that his bachelor heart couldn't live up to, and in fact, didn't want to because he didn't crave it at the moment.
There was a reason why he had been hiding away from any wolf presence for a month since it was the season of spring, the season of love and puppies. The one thing his old father craved for and the one thing he didn't want (at this moment) simply because he wasn't ready. In fact, the feeling became a burden since the one thing he longed for the most was to be with his birth family but not at those terms and conditions. So far he enjoyed his time here at Teekon Wilds and it had become a wild ride; from chasing bees with Meerkat to playing inspector Gadget with Lele. The wolves so far appeared to be good-natured, except for Ky-Ky who worked in mysterious ways and tugged at the dark heartstrings from within.
It was with these reflective thoughts that he scurried through the meadows, thinking back on everything that happened. What a whirlwind it had been. The young alabaster wolf didn't realize that it were these same meadows that provided romance and entertainment for young couples as they gathered around the colorful flowers, counted butterflies, had some food and enjoy the warm rays of the sun on a fading afternoon. Those lovely-dovey feelings stirred some disgust from within, probably caused by his father's harsh words and exile out of the pack. Once his honey-brown eyes gazed at the scenery, he noticed a wolf faintly in the distance. "Oh, hey there!" He friendly greeted her, not wanting his presence to be a surprise.
